“Minnesota Kids Rise”
During the recent MASA Spring Conference information was provided regarding this statewide initiative to improve pride and trust in Minnesota’s public schools. MASA has joined in this essential initiative led by MSBA. Other collaborators include the Association of Metropolitan School Districts, AMSD, and the Minnesota Cooperatives.
See this letter regarding this initiative where we hope all of you join in to offer your support!

Why Join AASA?
State executives like myself have asked AASA for a one-pager to explain the benefits of joining AASA. Here are just a few:
As a member you will have access to the annual superintendent salary and benefits survey.
Weekly newsletters with relevant information you can use.
The legal benefits alone are worth the membership dues! Each year we have members who have exhausted their MASA legal benefits and utilize their AASA benefits.
Advocacy at the federal level on issues that affect our public schools.
Please consider joining when MASA sends out membership renewal information later this spring, which will also provide you with an opportunity at that same time to join AASA.
Leadership Matters!
