Fortunately, in December, Brenda Lewis, Superintendent of Fridley Public Schools, presented an overview of the process to secure international talent as well as resources and best practices to ensure a successful implementation of the program will be provided.

Keep Advocating!

Please consider contacting your local representatives to ask for improved funding for schools and no new mandates, especially unfunded mandates. Share any budget reductions you will need to make for the 2024-2025 school year, the salary increases you have provided in recent contract settlements, how you have spent some of the new funding received last session and so on. We need our legislators to have an accurate understanding of where the money went that was provided last session and what you are facing moving forward.
