Investing in Leadership: MASA Launches 5th Aspiring Superintendents Academy!

MASA is excited to welcome the 5th group of Aspiring Superintendents to our Academy.  This year's group is facilitated by Kate Maguire and supported by six superintendent coaches: Marcy Doud, Chris Mills, Rhoda Mhiripiri-Reed, Belinda Selfors, Scott Thielman, and Michael Thomas.

Immigration Operation - Following Up 

The National Immigrant Justice Center has provided additional information regarding the ICE operation termed “Freaky Friday.” Additionally, MSBA has information posted under their 2025 Federal Legislation and Executive Orders webpage (MSBA member log-in required).

The MASA Legislative Committee meets on October 10 and will review your input as it works to develop the 2026 MASA Legislative Platform.

• Executive Director Profile: Add your thoughts here regarding the next MASA Executive Director. The MASA Board of Directors will review your feedback during the hiring process.

• 2025 Annual Member Survey: Your input ensure s MASA continues to meet the needs of Minnesota’s school leaders. Complete the annual member survey here!

If you haven’t yet completed your member census, please update your MASA profile by October 20, 2025. Keeping your information current ensures you receive MASA communications and benefits and helps us maintain accurate member data.
