Metal Detectors in use at the Capitol
New security measures are in place at the Capitol. Not all doors are open to the public, and there are metal detectors all must pass through to enter the Senate Office Building, the Capitol, and certain tunnels. Having gone through many this week, I assure you the process is smooth, and you go through quickly.
Minnesota CTO Clinic 2026: Leading Technology Together
The Minnesota CTO Clinic is a full-day learning experience on March 18, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Minneapolis Marriott NW, bringing together K-12 technology and district leaders from across Minnesota for connection, collaboration, and leadership growth. Designed primarily for CTOs, Technology Directors, and Coordinators—but highly relevant to superintendents, teaching and learning leaders, and central office administrators—the clinic recognizes that today’s technology decisions impact every aspect of district leadership and instruction.
The morning session will feature CoSN Executive Director Keith Krueger leading a national and local conversation on screen time and student technology use, while the afternoon session with George Couros will focus on strengthening leadership, cross-department partnerships, and superintendent collaboration. The day also includes interactive networking, dedicated vendor discussions, and practical action planning to support implementation back in participants’ districts.
