Mark Wolfram’s compositions are featured on many television programs including General Hospital and many prime time specials like CBS-TV’s Peoples’ Choice Awards.  Children may hear Mark’s music on Johnny Quest, or Young Indiana Jones.  He also creates music for television commercials:  McDonald’s, Cadillac, Budweiser, Kellogg’s, Nabisco, Amoco, Walt Disney World and many others.

Mark arranges and orchestrates for artist including Diana Ross & The Supremes, Kenny Rogers, Joe Williams, Lena Horne, and Doc Severinsen.  He conducts orchestras in studios from New York to Chicago, Los Angeles to London. Numerous concert works, including chamber, orchestral and band selections, bear Mark’s imprimatur.

Mark studied under Dr. Earl Benson at Thomas Jefferson High School. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Northwestern University and continued his studies in composition, orchestration, electronic synthesis, and film scoring at UCLA and USC.  In November 2001, he won the “SLATE Award” for best original film score the California Independent Film Festival.  He won the Lake Conference Achievement Award in Fine Arts in 2002.

Tonight the Jefferson Indoor Marching Band is honored to play the premier performance of the Jaguar Jaunt, a piece Mark composed just for us.
