Sarah (Gandrud) Robinson (Athlete - 1987)
Sarah is a 1987 Bloomington Jefferson graduate.
She was a 3 sport athlete competing in cross country, nordic skiing, and track & field.
She was a 13 time All Conference selection- 5 in cross country, 3 in nordic skiing, and 5 in track and field.
In cross country, Sarah was a captain along with placing at the state meet- 3rd (1983), 8th (1984), and 7th (1985).
In nordic, she was a 2 time captain and was a State Champion in 1987 and took 7th in 1986.
In track & field, she was a captain and finished 4th place (1984) and 3rd place (1986) in the 3200 m.
After high school, Sarah went to Middlebury College where she was on their cross country running, swim and nordic ski teams.
She was a 2 time 2nd Team All-American nordic skier and a 2 time All-American swimmer.
After college, she was the Head Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach at the University of Utah.
She currently resides in Oahu, HI with her family and she continues to coach swimming.
