Brian Bungum

Brian Bungum (Athlete - 1973)

• Brian is a 1973 graduate of Bloomington Jefferson where he participated in swimming. 

• Brian was the state diving champion in 1972 and runner-up in 1973. 

• After Jefferson, Brian attended Indiana University where he was a 4-time All American and 2-time 3-meter NCAA diving champion (1976, 1977).  

• He was a member of the 1980 US Olympic team (3 and 10 meter diving).  

• In addition, Brian has a long coaching career including a stint at Jefferson from 1983-1986 while he attended graduate school.  

• Brian has had a long career as a chiropractor in Sweden where he currently resides. 

• He has continued his coaching career in Sweden working with the Swedish National Team including the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
