Dick Mingo (Teacher/Coach)
Dick Mingo taught science and coached the Bloomington Jefferson High School baseball team for 16 years.
At Jefferson, he compiled at coaching record of 150-127, which included 2 conference titles.
His team took 3rd place in the 1974 state tournament.
Dick was president of the MN HS Baseball Coaches Association and held leadership positions in the American Legion baseball organization.
Dick’s greatest professional accomplishment was that he co-founded the MN Lions HS All-Star tournament.
In addition to involvement in baseball, Dick was an assistant football coach for over 20 years.
Dick currently resides with his wife Rosemary in Chanhassen.
