Harry Kits (Teacher/Coach)
Harry taught math from 1965 until retirement in 2005.
Harry came to Bloomington Lincoln as a math teacher and was an assistant football coach from 1970-1982 and was also involved coaching golf for the Bears.
From 1982-1995, he coached football at Normandale Community College.
In 1997, He was an assistant football coach at Jefferson until his retirement from Jefferson in 2003. From 1964 to 2016, he has been a basketball official and he has officiated in 20 Minnesota State High School League tournaments including 3 state championships.
He officiated women's college basketball for 25 years and also officiated Adaptive Soccer and Adaptive Softball from 1998-2006.
In 2011, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the MSHSL for his work in officiating.
Harry was inducted into the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2014.
Harry currently resides in Alabama and MN with his wife, Marlys.
