Jeff Kelly - Vocal Music Director 1988-2017

Jeff Kelly was the Vocal Music Director here at Jefferson from 1988 - 2017. He directed choirs and competitive show choirs which received 18 grand champion awards competing all over the country. Mr. Kelly developed curriculum and taught a music composition and arrangement class using the music software garage band. 

Mr. Kelly received his BA from Luther College and a Master of Arts from Saint Mary’s University. Jeff also directed honor choirs and adjudicated show choir competitions. The Jefferson Music Department was awarded The Model High School Music Award for the state of Minnesota in 2000. 

Before coming to Jefferson, Jeff performed as a keyboardist and vocalist professionally in the Twin Cities, toured and performed at Air Force bases all over the country and served as Vocal Music Director/Singer with the Miss. Minnesota Pageant in the 70’s and 80’s.
