Stan Skjei

Stan Skjei (Coach,/Administrator) 

-  Stan Skjei was a teacher, coach, and administrator in the Bloomington school district for 33 years, retiring in 1998.

-   Stan served as Jefferson’s boys athletic coordinator for 4 years.  

-  Stan was head football coach at Lincoln High School from 1976-1981, head girls basketball coach at Jefferson High School from 1982-1986, head football coach at Jefferson from 1987-1998 

- Stan earned numerous awards during his coaching career, including Lake Conference Coach of the Year, Section 6 Coach of the Year, and Metro Coach of the Year, all in 1994.  

-Stan was inducted into the Bloomington Amateur Sports Hall of Fame in 2004,  and the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2006

-  Stan was and continues to be involved in many community athletic organizations. -  Stan now lives in New Prague with his wife Judy.
