Ron Cordes

Ron Cordes (Teacher/Coach)

• Ron Cordes was a long time German teacher and coach at Bloomington Jefferson High School.  

• He was heavily involved in coaching multiple levels in boys’ and girls’ soccer, alpine skiing, girls’ basketball and boys’ and girls’ track & field.   

• He was twice named Minnesota State Assistant Coach of the year in boys’ soccer and girls’ basketball.  

• In addition, his boys’ track and field team was state runner-up in 1995.  

• Since his retirement, Ron has been an active high school official in track and field along with working Bloomington Jefferson events as a site supervisor, timer and scorekeeper.  

• Ron stays active with photography and family and still resides in Bloomington.
