Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, by William Shakespeare
Hello guys my name is Ricardo. I’m a student of the class 3 ES and today I want to talk about this book that I’ve read recently. It’s called Hamlet prince of Denmark, it’s a B1 level book but I was able to understand all the story and it was written by Wiliam Shakespeare and published in 1602.
William Shakespeare is the most important English writer. He was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon in 1564 and his writing and poems influenced many other writers and poets.
This book is a tragedy. When I was reading the book I felt very sad for Hamlet because he had to go through a very bad situation. You will ask me what his story is but the only thing that I can say is that Hamlet wants to take revenge for his dad who was murdered by his jealous brother, Claudius, who will marry the queen, too, so he was a traitor. The story starts when two guards see the old king ghost, so they tell it to Horatio, Hamlet's friend, who makes Hamlet see his father's ghost who will guide him in his story.
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark is set in Denmark in the royal castle.
A part of the book that really shocked me is when they try to get information from him using the girl he once loved but he understands that immediately and says that all women are stupid.
Or when he “corrupted” some actors to make the scene of Claudius killing his brother with poison while he was sleeping in a show and it’s from that moment that Claudius realizes that his action wasn’t a secret anymore.
I would recommend this book to everyone, especially to people who are fans of tragedies. I think that the only problem is that I finished it a little bit fast but that’s all right.
I give this book four stars.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson
This is a fantasy novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson. He was born in Scotland on 13th November 1850. He studied engineering but he loved the art of writing. He was a rebel and he didn’t like the strep calvinist doctrine of his family.
The novel was published in 1886.
The book tells the story of a scientist who creates a special potion to split the nature of men: he divides the good and the evil nature. The story begins with two men walking around the streets of London when they see a weird door and one of two man starts to tell about a story he experienced. Soon after the story becomes very mysterious and some strange crimes happen.
Who is the criminal?
You have to wait until the end of the book to find it out.
I recommend this book to people, especially teenagers, who like mystery because the story is really interesting. You’ll want to keep reading it to find out the truth. The characters seem real and they make you think about the nature of men and how the evil tends to overcome the good. The language used is very easy and the book can be read by everyone.

The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Arthur Conan Doyle
Hello ! My name is Denis, and this is my book review of the book “The Hound of the Baskervilles”. It’s the third of the four crime novels written by the British writer Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. “The Hound of the Baskervilles” is a detective fiction book, and if you are the type of person who likes solving puzzles and who likes piecing together clues and analyzing evidence to uncover the truth behind mysteries this book might be perfect for you.
There are some moments in this book that have a big impact on the readers emotions while reading it. For example, it made me curious when one night Dr. Watson was awoken at about two in the morning by a noise, and when he got out of his room, he saw Mr. Barrymore entering quietly in a room with a candle in his hand. And I felt relieved when in the end…( read the book to find out !)
The main character of this story is Sherlock Holmes, although it is told by his partner, Dr. Watson. Sherlock Holmes is a very intelligent and famous detective that solves lots of mysteries and crimes.
The story of this book it’s thought to be set in 1889, in Devonshire, England.
I find this book very interesting, you definitely won’t get bored while reading it. The language was very formal and written in the style of an educated man as it is a retelling of the case by Sherlock Holmes’ partner, Dr. Watson as I previously mentioned and I learned some new words thanks to this formal vocabulary.
I recommend this book to everyone because it is a really interesting book and you can learn some new words by reading it.
Me personally, I give this book 5 stars, because I liked reading it very much !

Macbeth, by William Shakespeare
Hi! I’m Elena and a read a book which is called “Macbeth “. It’s a book by William Shakespeare, an English playwright, poet and actor that was born on 26th April 1564 and died on 23rd April 1616. Shakespeare was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, and they had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judit. This book is an adventure book and it talks about this man called Macbeth which is also the main character that was returning from a battle with his friend Banquo. While they were returning home, they met three witches that said: ”Macbeth, the king!” , but he was just a simple soldier. They couldn’t forget the witches’ words, in particular Mabeth will do strange things because of these words. But what exactly? They’ re not the only people in the whole story. If you read the book, you will hear lots of different names of other important characters like Ducand, Malcom, etc… Will they be friends with Macbeth or will they fight with him and why? I’m sorry, you need to read it by yourself. Soon Macbeth, after lots of adventures he will become the new king of Scotland. Lots of strange events and scary stories will happen. Why will they happen? Will the story have a happy ending or a bad one and how many people must die before Scotland finds peace once again? I would recommend this book to all the people who love history and adventure books or films, but I don’t think that old people or children will appreciate this. This book has a good mixture of adventure and action, so I really like it. It isn’t very long, so you won’t spend a lot of time on it, but it’s perfect if you want to try a book with a lot of adrenaline and interesting facts. I think that I’ll give it four stars. Do you want to know the whole story of this book? What are you waiting for? Buy it before it runs out!
