Survey Campaigns
What?
Survey campaigns let staff send surveys created in Navigate360's Content Administration Tool (CAT) to specific populations.
WHY?
Unlike other surveys, with the Navigate360 survey staff can clearly define which students should receive the survey
This can be determined using the Navigate360 search features and/or by creating a student list
How?
Staff work with the Content Admin to develop their survey using a template.
Staff are able to customize the number of questions and the types of questions
Staff determine a range of dates when the survey is open and which population of students it should be sent to
Only students defined in the campaign will be able to access the survey
Students can complete the survey via a link, email, text, QR code to Survey Home or directly through the Navigate360 Student app
Following the campaign, staff are able to download a report with all of the data
Launching Survey Campaign:
To begin, open the Campaigns page and select Add New from the Survey Campaigns section.
Set your Campaign Name.
Use the following Naming Convention
(Department acronym).(Term Code the campaign is for).(Name of Campaign).(Your username)
Example:
ADV.202210.Registerforclasses.awoody
FAC.202230.MidtermCheckin.ebreton
Care Unit: This is defined when creating the Survey
Term: Select the term the Survey campaign will be issued in
Select a Survey
Select the survey that you worked with Navigate App Admin to build
If you do not see your survey please contact Navigate@hcc.edu
Campaign Timing
Set your start and end date for the survey. Students will only be able to access the survey during these dates.
Verify Recipients
Select the students to add to the campaign and click Continue.
Add a Student List you have already created by going into the Student Information drawer and selecting your Student List from the Box.
If you use the Advance Search Drawers/Options to find students, you may also save this search if you want. Once you’ve gone to the next step, this list is static and does not update.
If you want to set up the rest of the campaign, and add the recipients later you can click NEXT
Review the students on the next page. If a student should not be in the campaign, select the box next to their name, choose the Actions dropdown menu, and select "Remove Selected Users".
Review Survey Announcement & Reminders
Survey announcement and reminders were developed when the survey was created. If you need anything here edited you will need to contact the Navigate Content Admin/App Admin you worked with to build the survey.
You should review these to make sure the information is accurate!
