Communication to Students will be added to the calendar below, this will provide a visual and physical record of communications for the campus community. If you would like something added, please email Navigate@hcc.edu.

Types of Communications
Email: Email Capture functionality allows Navigate to be aware of initial messages as well as replies, follow-up communications, and messages that originated outside of the application so that these communications can be captured, tracked, and measured.
Mass Email: Same as above, just messaging more than one student at a time. Student receives the email as a BCC message.
Text: Two-way texting/text messaging lets you to send messages to students and receive replies in the Navigate staff platform. This is a permission-based feature. Texting Guidelines
Appointment Campaign: They enable staff and faculty to send messages with unique appointment scheduling links to students. What makes them so useful is that appointment campaigns give staff the ability to set criteria for their campaign. This means availability, location, and length of the appointment can be pre-set.
Enrollment Campaign: Email message to specific student populations that will track their enrollment in the next semester.
Email Campaign: Email Campaigns let staff reach out to specific student populations and encourage them to take certain actions.
Surveys:
Survey: Surveys can be sent via email/text/push notifications to specific student populations. Answers to the survey are only visible to staff members with Survey Analytics permissions.
Quick Poll: A questionnaires launched to current students when they are in the app or desktop version. Answers are visible under Advanced Search.
Events: Visible in the student app or desktop version. Scheduling is built from parameters
To-do: Visible in the Student app or desktop version. Email/text/push notifications can be scheduled and based on parameters. These can also be targeted messages based on categories in Navigate.
