Event Campaign: Event Campaigns let staff reach out to specific student populations and encourage them to attend an event. Students have the opportunity to RSVP for the event and the RSVP list can be downloaded through an Event Campaign Report.
Giude for Event Campaign will include visuals of the emails students receive and how to mark students as Attended/Unattended.
To begin, open the Campaigns page and select Add New from the Event Campaigns section.
You can also launch an Event Campaign from your Calendar, following the pictures below.
Basic Configurations
Set your Internal Campaign Name.
Use the following Naming Convention
(Department acronym).(Term Code the campaign is for).(Name of Campaign).(Your username)
Example:
STUENG.202430.WecomeBackBBQ.lpare
Care Unit
Maximum Number of Attendees;
Check the box if you want to make the invitation required. By clicking this checkbox, it will make it required for students to receive an invitation to RSVP and attend this event.
Event Information
Display Name needs to be student-facing information
Event Date
Event Start Time
Event End Time
Event Time Zone
Event Location
Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Event Contact Email are all optional configurations
Event Registration Window
Set the start date the event invitation will begin and the end date to which the student needs to register by.
Registration Page
Create an Event Description that is a student-facing information
Editing the left-side text box will show how the student will see it on the right-side on the Registration Page Review.
Verify Recipients
Perform a search for the students you are seeking to send the Event Campaign to.
You can add a Student List you have already created by going into the filter box and typing "Student List" or scrolling to find Student List.
When you are ready to run your report Select Run Report
Once your report has run, you can select all students with the Select All button on the bottom right corner of the report, or select the specific recipients from the report. Once your recipients are selected use the Add Selected Recipients button to add them to the Event Campaign.
Review Recipients In Event list and then click Continue.
If a student should not be in the campaign, select the box next to their name and choose Remove Selected Recipients.
Compose Messages
Invitations and Reminders to RSVP
Set up your outreach and follow-up messages for this event. Follow-up messages will be sent to remind attendees of the event or to remind recipients to RSVP.
Required Message
RSVP Confirmation
This message will be sent within a day of the attendee responding to the event invitation. A message will be sent to the recipient when they initially RSVP, and also if they update their RSVP.
This message is for communication purposes only and will not be included in event metrics.

Follow-up messages will be sent to remind attendees of the event or to remind recipients to RSVP.
This message is for communication purposes only and will not be included in event metrics.
Optional Message
Input the Subject and Message for the email. {$hyperlink_to_rsvp_url} merge tag needs to be used within the email so that the RSVP Here hyperlink is used within the email. Edits in the left text box will reflect on the right.
The ability to add pictures, color text, or attach flyers is available for the email.
After creating messages, click Continue to continue. You may continue creating messages/nudges after this.
Important. Your Event Campaign "ends" when your event has taken place.
Review your campaign details on this page.
Click Start Campaign when you are ready to email the invites to the selected students.
