Create a Digital Portfolio using the Slides template assigned in Google Classroom. Use the EUSD Learner Profile to complete Student Portfolio Activity #1 and Activity #2.
With your advisory grade level teacher, you will select one learner profile activity you want to share.
Your grade level team will have one station to show the Learner Profile that you want to teach to the audience
You can show the Learner Profile through an activity, a presentation, a speech, a lesson, etc. Use your creativity! The goal is to show the audience how you have mastered the Learner Profile.
You will have one period to present your activity. Families, staff, and students will be your audience.
The Showcase will be the last weeks of May.
We are getting to crunch time with our student portfolios. It will be extremely important that all advisory teachers are looking at and following the Advisory Pacing Guide in order to stay current and meeting the required timelines in preparation for our Showcase.
1. These will be done by grade level on three separate Family Days at Lunch: 6th 5/16, 7th 5/23, 8th 5/30
2. Grade levels will present during 4th period in the quad area on these days
3. In each advisory class, students will meet with the students in their grade level, review their portfolios and pick an activity that they will reteach or present at the showcase. (Encourage creativity)
4. Students will create a QR code that links to their portfolio for individual viewing and post at their station.
We are asking that all teachers complete the following Portfolio Brainstorm Sheet so that advisory teachers can access this document when helping their students complete their portfolio in advisory. We are asking each teacher to list a lesson example that you have done this year with your classes that fits each learner profile. Please complete this on Thursday.
Again it is going to be important to follow the Advisory Pacing Guide and follow the Backwards Planning Document (linked in the Advisory Pacing). This doc contains important timelines to follow in order to have students ready for our showcase in May
