❶ A central brain (IT system or a team) fix the production planning of each department.

❷ Every team works according to this production planning (date, item, quantities). 

❶ There is only one production planning as close as possible from final customer or on the bottleneck process.

❷ Relation with previous departments are managed through supermarkets and kanban in a pull flow.

❸ Stock level of supermarket is decided and respected based on customer needs. 

❶ Supermarket size is regularly optimized, avoiding overstock and shortage. 

❷ Changeover time have been analysed, an action plan to reduce the changeover time has been implemented. 

❶ Pull flow concept has been set up between workstations.

❷ Each team-member is working according their customer(s) demand.

❸ A policy of reduction of WIP is in place locally.
