Management Control System explained by DMW (Decathlon Manufacturing Way) 2017
Here is the list of observable situations to allow you to evaluate your Organization
This grid corresponds to version 11.2 for which we have changed the vocabulary to make it accessible to all actors at Decathlon (stores, warehouses, factories, brands & services).
To reach a level (A/B/C/D), all the observable situations of the level must be fulfilled.
If none of the observable situations are applied, it means that you have the level E.
Everything in red indicates the people involved in the action.
Everything written in bold black corresponds to the important points of the action.
❶ All team are using formalized checklists to guarantee that the main process is under control.
❷ In All teams, Checklists help to detect Gaps, when a gap is detected, an action plan is taken.
❸In All team, There are regular audits to check the application of the check-list. If check-list are not used, the root cause are analyzed and actions are taken to ensure check-list's uses.
❶ Example fo checklist : leaders standard work, supply standards works
❶ There is a cascading system of check-lists & routines in place throughout the Organization linked to all departments (ex: respect of standards, safety, human, environment...).
❷ All leaders make regular Gemba walks to review the routines and checklists.
❸ To boost existing over performance, we analyze and update the corresponding check-lists for duplication.
❹ Operational teammates (and not support team only) are invited to participate to the update/creation of the checklists.
