The leader of the organization must be able to inspire on Continuous Improvement and lead/support the change.
Here is the list of observable situations to allow you to evaluate your Organization
This grid corresponds to version 11.2 for which we have changed the vocabulary to make it accessible to all actors at Decathlon (stores, warehouses, factories, brands & services).
To reach a level (A/B/C/D), all the observable situations of the level must be fulfilled.
If none of the observable situations are applied, it means that you have the level E.
Everything in red indicates the people involved in the action.
Everything written in bold black corresponds to the important points of the action.
❶ The Top Leader considers Continuous Improvement as a priority.
❷ The Top Leader has initiated some CI actions.
❸ There are allocated means to deploy continuous improvement activities.
❶ Continuous improvement appears in the project, there are indicators + targets linked to its deployment, debriefing of the continuous improvement roadmap
❷ Nominated CI leaders, recruited consulting company, organized CI trainings, implemented routines..
❸ Budget, human, material, etc...

regularly develops her/his CI skills
attends the CI activities during weekly and monthly routines.
spends time in the field to coach and challenge her/his teams every week.
regularly communicates on the CI (Continuous Improvement) to stimulate the involvement of each team
