Tristie Christiansen

Tristie is a sophomore at David Douglas High School. Her hobbies consist of reading, writing, drawing and crocheting. She likes drawing cartoons, as well as painting scenic views, and hasn't crocheted much but she's getting there! Her favorite genres to both read and write are fantasy and horror. She loves movies and tv shows, liking too many to pick a favorite. Her favorite color is green, although she doesn't like to wear it often. She has a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Skye, that she has had since Covid began. 

Tristie joined journalism because she has always loved reading and writing, thinking the class would be fun. She also joined the class because ever since she first discovered there was such a thing as a "school newspaper", she has been fascinated with the idea of having some part in it.
