The Pale Blue Dot photograph is one of many reminders of how insignificant Earth is in our universe. Taken by Voyager 1 from a whopping six billion kilometers away, how can we assume that we are the only form of life? How can humans on Earth be the only evidence of life in the history of everything?

What the government doesn't want society to know, we won't know. Who is to say that alien life isn't one of the confidential secrets that they are withholding from us? From the sheer amount of "what ifs" that we can ask, the belief in extraterrestrial life is not a groundless suspicion. With current technology, the confirmation of non-alien existence cannot be verified.

Denial of alien life could be rooted in fear. Like robots, they could cause the end of the world. But to immediately hypothesize alien behavior as violent is a little mean. What if they're friendly? We will only know once we discover them.
