Hex, the song that appraised the popularity of the Canadian/British author, Nathan Oddoye that has reached fame in many social media platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram. Author of the song is by his youtuber name called 80purppp. The artist on Youtube currently has 32 million views on his video called Hex. His song was recognized even more when it reached other to social media platforms such as Tik Tok.

The lyrics aren’t fast paced as many hip hop songs. The song gives the feeling of hope and relaxation to the listeners of this song. The song has the popular lofi tone in the song. The most catchy part about the song music/song was the background singing/sounds. Both the singing and the background sound both sounded uniquely well paired. The song actually took a sample from another popular artist's song named “Heavy heart" by Shiloh Dynasty. With the sample and 80purpp's singing mixed together was great.

Consistent with his name, an anagram describing a dark purple polaroid, the depth of his music matches the nature of the color. The lyrics aren’t fast paced as many hip hop songs, it is more lofi.  80purpp had created multiple songs before, but when Hex 80purpp was a big hit he was motivated to create even more songs, maybe hopefully creating another big hit song.

The song Hex is important to show how by the luck of this world your song could potentially be heard by millions of people over how great the song was. The song Hex was a very great song when heard by many people.
