The Princess and the Frog, the classic animated musical, has earned $271 million since its premiere on Dec. 11. 2009. The film was directed by John Muskers and Ron Clements, the motion picture follows a dedicated, hard working waitress (Tiana) working to fulfill her dream of owning a restaurant. An unexpected encounter with Prince Naveen, who has been turned into a frog by the evil Dr. Facilier, leads to her also being transformed into a frog. With an amazing voice acting cast that consist of: Anika Noni Rose as Tiana, Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Oprah Winfrey as Eudora, Jenifer Lewis as Mama Odie, Jim Cummings as Ray, Terrance Howard as James, Jenifer Cody as Charolette La Bouf, and Keith David as Dr. Facilier. The voice actors had no problem when making lines seem authentic and entertaining. Ray, voiced by Jim Cummings, brought so much heart and humor to the film. The movie features a delightful blend of jazz, gospel, and New Orleans-inspired music that really captures the spirit of the setting. The songs are catchy and memorable, and they do a great job of advancing the story and showcasing the character's emotions. The music adds so much energy and charm to the film, making it even more enjoyable to watch. The animated musical wouldn't be considered a classic if it didn't capture the magic, humor, and heartwarming moments. It's a beautiful story about following your dreams, the power of love and friendship, and not judging others based on appearances. Plus, the music in the film is fantastic! Overall, it's an enchanting movie that both kids and adults can enjoy. The Princess and the Frog is a delightful Disney film that brings a fresh twist to the classic fairy tale genre.
