OBJECTIVE:

This assignment asks (and answers) the age old question ”Knock Knock…Who’s There?” by using Microsoft Power Point as the delivery system for the answer.



DIRECTIONS:

  1. Open Microsoft Power Point.
  2. Choose New Document (if necessary).
  3. You are to create a Power Point Show that defines a funny (and school appropriate) Knock Knock Joke.
  4. This slide show should have six slides
    1. Title Slide (Name and Period)
    2. Knock Knock
    3. Who’s There
    4. Question
    5. Question Retort
    6. Answer
  5. You should decorate the slides any graphics, borders or other augmentation that you find artistically pleasing.

SUBMITTED WORK:

You may be asked to print this assignment and/or you may be asked to submit the assignment to the 408 Drop Folder.

  1. If you must print the work…
    1. Select File
    2. Choose Print
    3. Change the options in the print menu to reflect
    4. Handouts (6 - Per Page Horizontal)
    5. Black and White
    6. Select the printer in Room 408. (It may be labeled PROD LAB 408 or just show as HS 408).
    7. Click Print.
  2. If you must submit to the 408 Drop Folder…
    1. Go to File
    2. Select Save As
    3. Navigate to \\blsd-fs02
    4. Select Lesnansky Digital Class
    5. Choose the folder labeled KNOCK KNOCK JOKES
    6. Choose your period number
    7. Click Save
    8. Leave the work on the printer. Mr. Lesnansky will grade it from there.



LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:

  1. Late work must be printed to the printer in Room 408.
  2. Select File
  3. Choose Print
  4. Change the options in the print menu to reflect
    1. Handouts (6 - Per Page Horizontal)
    2. Black and White
  5. Select the printer in Room 408. (It may be labeled PROD LAB 408 or just show as HS 408).
  6. Click Print.
  7. Leave the work on the printer. Mr. Lesnansky will grade it from there.

  2. Play with Microsoft Power Point to learn more about the program and what it can do.
