The understanding and application of digital learning tools for accessing, creating, evaluating, applying and communicating ideas and information.

Topic 1: Identify and use appropriate digital learning tools and resources to accomplish a defined task.


Grade 3-5

• With guidance, identify and use digital learning tools or resources to support planning, implementing and reflecting upon a defined task.


Grade 6-8

• Select and use digital learning tools or resources to support planning, implementing, and reflecting upon a defined task.


Grade 9-12

• Analyze and evaluate the ease of use and effectiveness of available features of selected digital learning tools and resources.

    • PW: two zeroes + studentid to make eight characters (EXAMPLE BELOW)

  3. Select the All Apps Button (looks like a tic tac toe board)
  4. Select GMail
  5. Can you open your Inbox?
  6. Can you Compose an email?
  7. Can you search your SENT folder?

  • This assignment is based on Teacher Observation.


SCORING GUIDE:

  • This assignment is worth 10 points for completion.


LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:

  • If you are absent from school or do not complete the assignment on time, you must inform Mr. Lesnansky to check the assignment. This needs to be done early in the grading period as it creates a storage system for all of the documents that you will be creating this year. (NOTE: A point deduction may be enforced for late work not due to an excused absence.)
