Dollar Bill Origami

  • I can find a model and follow the directions to create a Dollar Bill Origami.


ACTIVITIES:

  1. Watch the YouTube video linked below and fold your money in to a heart:
  2. Click on the following link to search YouTube for "Dollar Bill Origami" (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dollar+bill+origami)
  3. Choose a short video (I recommend less than five (5) minutes and try to fold your dollar into the object shown.
  4. Be patient and try again....you'll get it!
  5. Choose a second video. Perhaps a longer and more complex model?
  6. You may also use http://www.origami-resource-center.com/dollar-bill-origami.html for other ideas/
  7. Look for the link for diagrams.
  8. Choose one of the diagrams and attempt to create the object with one of the fake bills available in the room.
  9. Make certain that you write your name on the project.


SUBMITTED WORK:

  • This work should be submitted directly to Mr. Lesnansky. Make certain that your name is on the piece.



LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:

  • If you are absent from school or do not complete the assignment on time, you must submit your piece to Mr. Lesnansky. (NOTE: A point deduction may be enforced for late work not due to an excused absence.)

  2. DoK2: Go to www.youtube.com and search for "dollar bill origami". Try another model.
  3. DoK3: Can you complete a second model of the same type?
  4. DoK4: Can you make something that requires more than one dollar?
