Five Things I Like

• Based on communication needs, develop, implement and evaluate a communication plan to disseminate information to multiple audiences.
OBJECTIVE:
- This assignment requires students to create a Google Slides Presentation titled Five Things I Like.
LEARNING TARGETS:
- I can define Five Things I Like and create a presentation complete with graphics and effects.
ACTIVITIES:
- Watch the presentation linked below.
- Log in to your Google Account
- Open the Menu Button
- Open Google Slides
- Create a new file titled Five Things I Like
- Create five new slides (use the + button near the top of the screen
- Type the names of five things that you like in the slides
- Insert>Images>Search the Web
- Add at least one graphic to each slide to help tell the story
- Google Slides will Autosave
- Place the completed show in the Google Classroom folder.
- WARNING: Do NOT post too much text on any one page. One of the biggest “sins” of Power Point Designers is including way too much information on a slide. Use text to tell the story but be brief. Always leave the viewer wanting more!
- WARNING: Do NOT use too much flair, color or graphics in the show. Too little is bring but too much is busy, annoying and generally unpleasant. MODERATION!
- WARNING: Do NOT mix fonts, styles or themes. Once you make a selection for your presentation stick with your choice. A hodgepodge of designs and styles generally detracts from the presentation.
- You may include audio if desired.

LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:
- If you are absent from school or do not complete the assignment on time, you must print your Slide Show printer labeled HS 408.
