The understanding and application of digital learning tools for accessing, creating, evaluating, applying and communicating ideas and information.
Topic 3: Use digital learning tools and resources to construct knowledge.
Grades 3-5
• Gather, organize and summarize information from multiple digital learning tools and resources to build knowledge of a topic.
Grades 6-8
• Analyze data collected or retrieved from a variety of digital learning tools and resources to determine if patterns or trends are present.
Grade 9-12
• Create artifacts using digital learning tools and resources to demonstrate knowledge.
OBJECTIVE:
- The student will login to their Brookfield Google Drive Accounts using the Windows Application Drive File Stream.
LEARNING TARGETS:
- GRADES 5-6: I can login and use my Google Account to get on the Internet.
- GRADES 7-8: I can login and use my Google Account to get on the Internet and upload files to my Google Drive.
- GRADES 9-12: I can login and use my Google Account to get on the Internet, upload files to my Google Drive and use the available Google Apps.
DIRECTIONS:
- Press the Start Button
- Look for and click the blue "Sign In" button
- Your credentials are:
- UN: 27lastnamef@brookfieldfirstname.lastname@brookfield.k12.oh.us
- PW: student ID + however many zeroes to make eight (8) characters
- Example:
- UN: george.lesnansky@brookfield.k12.oh.us
- PW: 12345000 OR 12345600
- Once your UN appears in the upper right hand corner of the Google Window you are identified as a Google User.
- Click the icon for "Google Apps" (it is a 3x3 square matrix)
- Upload a file from your S: Drive to your Google Drive
- Click the Orange Button with the Up Arrow
- Navigate to your S: Drive
- Select a file
- Open
SUBMITTED WORK:
- This work will be evaluated in class by teacher observation.
LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:
- If you are absent from school or do not complete the assignment on time, please see Mr. Lesnansky. (NOTE: A point deduction may be enforced for late work not due to an excused absence.)
