OHIO'S LEARNING STANDARDS FOR TECHNOLOGY (2017):

6. Creative Communicator

Creative Communicator Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals. Students:

a. choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation or communication.

b. create original works or responsibly re-purpose or remix digital resources into new creations.

d. publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.


ACTIVITIES:

  1. Login to your Google Account
  2. Open a New Google Doc
  3. Insert>Header>Type "Somewhere I Have Never Been But I Really Want To Go"
  4. Insert>Footer
    1. Name (Full Name)
    2. Class (i.e. Computers 6-1)
  5. You will create an essay that tells as story about a pl;ace you have never been but one that you would like to visit.
  6. You should try to include::
    1. Why you want to go to the place
    2. Where the place is
    3. A photo of the place
    4. The distance from home the place is


ASSESSMENT:

  • This file will be shared using Google Classroom
  • This file may also be printed. Follow the instructions for your word processor.


SCORING GUIDE:

  • This is a simple assignment that must be printed in Room 408. You will earn 20 points for completing this assignment but there will be no deduction for spelling, grammar or structure.
  • There will be an additional 20 points for the Google Classroom upload
  • If you ever have a question on a grade please see the instructor!


LATE WORK/MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENT:

  • If you are absent from school or do not complete the assignment on time, you must inform Mr. Lesnansky to check the assignment. This needs to be done early in the grading period as it creates a storage system for all of the documents that you will be creating this year. (NOTE: A point deduction may be enforced for late work not due to an excused absence.)
