Termination of Services

A student's services end when:

• • The student moves out of your attendance boundaries

  • The student was found not eligible as a student with a disability

  • The student graduates with a regular diploma

  • The student ages our of services

  • A parent revokes consent for special education services

A Prior Notice of Special Education Action is required in all cases and in the case where the student is found not eligible for special education services, an Eligibility Packet and all related paperwork must be completed.

A Summary of Performance is also required for student who graduate with a regular diploma, and or age our of services.
