Modifications

Modifications change the learning expectations, construct, grade-level standard, and/or measured outcome. Modifications are also devices, practices, interventions, or procedures that afford equal access to instruction or assessment;

Documenting in the IEP, modified grading needs to be documented in the IEP accurately before it can be reported to the parents on the general education report card. We cannot report a modified grade for a special education student unless it is accurately reflected in the student's IEP.

• Supplementary Aids/Services; Modifications

  • Accurately describe the modification(subject)

  • Amount and Frequency

  • Location of the Modifications

  • Provider

  • Role responsible for monitoring
