SEASON 7 (AIRED ON 1985-86 SEASON):

(Desaparece de la cabecera de esta temporada ALEC BALDWIN a partir del undécimo episodio. Permanecen en ella todos los de la temporada anterior. En cuanto a los secundarios, siguen STEVE SHAW, PAT PETERSEN y TONYA CROWE, retomando sus personajes anteriores. DANNY PONCE como JASON sólo aparece en el 7º episodio, y es sustituido por MATTHEW NEWMARK en el 17. TERI AUSTIN regresa en el 4º como JILL BENNETT, papel que interpretará hasta mediados de la 10ª Temporada, y entra HUNT BLOCK como PETER HOLLISTER en el 5ºepisodio.

ALEC BALDWIN leaves this season´s opening from episode 11 on. Remaining in it are all the cast members from the previous season. Still guest-starring are STEVE SHAW, PAT PETERSEN, and TONYA CROWE, reprising their respective roles. DANNY PONCE as JASON only appears in episode 7, and he´s replaced by MATTHEW NEWMARK in episode 17 on. TERI AUSTIN returns as JILL BENNETT, role she will play up to mid-season 10, and enters HUNT BLOCK as PETER HOLLISTER in episode 5.)

1/131: "THE LONGEST DAY" ("EL DÍA MÁS LARGO")

MACK y BEN siguen los pasos a HARRY pero acaban perdiéndolo. LAURA recibe una llamada para enseñar una casa, pero es GREG quien ha preparado una cena romántica con ella. Mientras, VAL intenta entrar en casa de los FISHER, y BEN decide esperar allí con ella. Le dice que KAREN la creyó en todo momento, y trabajó durante meses para encontrar a los bebés. Pero VAL pierde los nervios cuando HARRY llega con un policía. En casa, JOSHUA afirma ante VAL que hallaron a los gemelos porque él y sus espectadores rezaron para que le perdonaran sus pecados. VAL espera toda la noche dentro de su coche, aparcado delante de casa de los FISHER. MACK y KAREN llevan a VAL al hospital para buscar las partidas de nacimiento, pero la funcionaria les dice que no existen. ABBY informa a GARY de una llamada de SOUTHFORK comunicando la muerte de BOBBY.

Laura gets a call to show a house, but it's really Greg who has a romantic dinner set up. At the Fishers', Mac and Ben follow Harry but lose him. Val meanwhile tries to break down the door. Val refuses to leave, so Ben waits with her. He tells Val that Karen believed her all along, and worked for months to find the babies. Harry arrives home with a police escort, who tells Val she has to leave. She loses it. At home, Joshua tells Val that her babies were found because he and his viewers prayed that she would be forgiven of her sins. Val drives back to the Fishers and waits all night in her car. Mac has Karen bring Val to the hospital to get the birth records, but the clerk says there are no records of the twins. Abby tells Gary that there was a call from Southfork and Bobby is dead.

Cuando CATHY le dice a JOSHUA que va a alquilar un apartamento con él o sin, él la trata con violencia y le advierte que no vuelva a hablarle así en público. GARY asiste al funeral de BOBBY en DALLAS. GREG intenta que el capataz de E.V. sugiera una nueva localización para la emisora, pero este se niega a hacerlo sin el visto bueno de GARY. La enfermera accede a declarar y MACK consigue una orden judicial para impedir que los FISHER dejen el país. SHEILA está perdiendo la razón y HARRY le propone huir con él. KAREN ve salir a la mujer y los hombres de MACK la siguen. Luego entra en la casa y le dice a HARRY que, sabiendo que los bebés habían sido robados, no le queda más remedio que devolvérselos a VAL. Poco después ambos les llevan los gemelos a esta, que los abraza y besa, mientras llora y ríe al mismo tiempo mientras HARRY desaparece.

At the studio, Cathy tells Joshua she's getting an apartment - with or without him. Joshua grabs her really hard and says to NEVER speak to him in public like that. Gary goes to Dallas for Bobby's funeral. Greg tells the Empire Valley foremen, Elliot, to blast for the TV station in another position, but he won't without Gary's okay. Nurse Wilson finally shows up at the Judge's, and Mac gets a court order barring the Fishers from leaving. Sheila is really losing it, so Harry agrees to run away with her. Karen drives by the Fishers' house. She sees Sheila leaving, and Mac's men follow her. Karen pleads with Harry and tells him that even if he didn't know the babies were stolen before, he knows now. She says they have no moral choice but to give them back to Val because how could they raise the children knowing the truth of the situation? Lilimae answers the door and screams for Val. It's Karen and Harry with the babies. They hand them to Val who hugs and kisses them, crying and laughing at the same time. Choked up, Harry slips out the door unnoticed.

GARY vuelve a casa y se viene abajo por la muerte de BOBBY. En la emisora, ABBY asciende a BEN a director general, y ahora será el jefe de JOSHUA. VAL disfruta el tiempo que pasa con los gemelos y no le queda mucho tiempo para BEN. JOSH asegura en su programa que la fuerza de la oración fue lo que le devolvió a los niños. VAL se enfada con él y le dice que sólo ella mantuvo su fe, no él ni los espectadores. BEN se preocupa cuando GARY les visita y VAL le invita a pasar, informándole que llamará BOBBY a su hijo en nombre de su difunto hermano.

Gary returns home and breaks down over Bobby's death. At the station, Abby promotes Ben to General Manager, so now he's Joshua's boss. Val is having a ball with the babies and doesn't have much time for Ben. Joshua does his show on how the power of prayer brought back the babies. Val's angry and tells him that SHE kept the faith, not him or his viewers. Ben finally spends time with Val, but is upset when Gary comes by and she invites him to stay. Val tells Gary she is naming her son after Bobby, and Ben is really hurt.

4/134: "THE CHRISTENING" ("EL BAUTIZO")

MACK decide investigar el tema de las adopciones y le pide al Gobernador que le envíe a alguien para ayudarle. Esa persona resulta ser JILL BENNETT, que flirtea con él y le besa. GREG ve a LAURA con un compañero de trabajo y se pone celoso. Luego entrega a ABBY un informe falso que asegura que la localización de la emisora es mejor que la que GARY eligió. BEN comunica a JOSH que su audiencia está bajando, y este pide disculpas a CATHY y le pide que vuelva a cantar en el programa. VAL planea el bautizo de los gemelos y pide a MACK y KAREN que sean los padrinos. VAL elige para su hija el nombre de ELIZABETH (BETSY) en honor de la madre de BEN. A LILIMAE le duele el hombro y va a ver al médico, pero no es nada serio. JOSH asegura a su mujer que LILIMAE se muere, y por eso no quiere marcharse de la casa. SHEILA sigue por todas partes a VAL y los niños y, finalmente, acude con su marido a verla para despedirse de los bebés, ya que van a mudarse, pero siempre los querrán.s love the babies. Val lets them say goodbye to the twins.

Mac decides to investigate adoptions and asks the governor to send him someone to help him with the red tape. He sends Jill Bennett. She and Mac flirt and they kiss. Greg sees Laura with a co-worker and is jealous. Greg gives Abby a phony report that says the site for the TV station is better than where Gary wanted it. Ben tells Joshua that his ratings are slipping. Josh apologizes to Cathy and asks her to sing on his show again. Val plans the babies' christening. She asks Mac and Karen to be the godparents. Val decides to name her daughter Elizabeth (Betsy) after Ben's mother. Lilimae's shoulder hurts, and so she goes to a few doctors' appointments, but it's nothing serious. Joshua tells Cathy that Lilimae's dying, so he can't move out. Sheila Fisher follows Val and the babies around. They go to Val's and tell her they're moving, but will always love the babies. Val lets them say goodbye to the twins.

GREG ha construido una cámara subterráneo en E.V. para albergar el centro de comunicaciones. BEN se siente deprimido porque duda que él y VAL se casen algún día. CATHY aparece con moratones en la cara, y VAL cree que JOSH la maltrata. El Gobernador decide que JILL se quede en la oficina de MACK, que se enfurece y discute con ella continuamente. GREG decide contratar a un ayudante, y un joven llega y obliga a los demás candidatos a marcharse. ABBY le dice a GREG que el recién llegado le cae bien. Su nombre es PETER HOLLISTER y afirma que GREG lo necesita para dirigir bien su oficina, y que quiere aprender de él.

Greg has an underground chamber built at Empire Valley for the communications center. Ben is depressed over whether he and Val will ever get married. Ben tells Joshua he'd better do something to get his ratings up, or he'll cancel his show. Joshua asks Cathy to sing again, but she doesn't want to and they argue. The next day Cathy has a big bruise. Val thinks Joshua hit her.The governor decides to keep Jill at Mac's office. He's angry and he and Jill continually argue. Greg decides to hire an assistant. A man comes in and says to the other applicants that the position was filled, so they all leave. Abby is there, and he says "Didn't you hear me? I said it was filled!" Abby tells Greg she likes him. He is Peter Hollister and says Greg needs him to run his office properly and that he wants to learn from Greg.

6/136: "A QUESTION OF TRUST" ("UNA CUESTIÓN DE CONFIANZA")

JOSHUA no soporta que CATHY reciba más correspondencia de los fans que él. GREG le dice a ABBY que más vale que consiga que ELLIOT respalde su falso informe, y PETER escucha su conversación telefónica. ABBY chantajea a ELLIOT con revelar información sobre el pasado de su hijo si no convence a GARY. KAREN siente celos de que MACK trabaje con JILL y le dice a VAL que su forma de discutir le recuerda cómo se conocieron. JILL informa a MACK que vuelve a SACRAMENTO, pero él le pide que se quede.

Joshua is upset that Cathy gets more fan mail than he does. Greg tells Abby that she'd better get Elliot to back up their phony report (as Peter listens in on the phone). Abby tells Elliot that she found out his son was once arrested on a drug charge and threatens to tell his employers, so Elliot lies to Gary about the phony report. Karen's jealous of Mac working with Jill and tells Val that the way they argue reminds her of she and Mac when they first met. Jill tells Mac she is going back to Sacramento, but he says he'd like her to stay.

JILL confiesa a MACK que le ama. KAREN contrata a LAURA para que supervise la siguiente fase de LOTUS POINT. JOSHUA falta a la grabación del programa y BEN consigue que CATHY le sustituya cantando. Cuando lo ve por TV, JOSH se enfada y se acuesta con una camarera llamada LINDA. Luego se cita con su mujer y le da una paliza, y ella acude a casa de BEN, que le aconseja que le abandone. VAL convence a BEN para casarse, pero él quiere ser el único padre de los gemelos. Ella accede, y, cuando GARY pasa a verlos, este empieza a sospechar que puede ser su padre.

Jill tells Mac that she loves him. Karen offers Laura a job overseeing the next phase at Lotus Point. Joshua doesn't show up for a taping, so Ben has Cathy sing for the whole show. Josh sees it and is really upset. He meets a waitress, Linda, and makes out with her. Joshua has Cathy meet him and he beats her up. She runs to Ben's. They have a heart to heart talk, and Ben tells her to leave Joshua. Val tells Ben she loves him and is ready to get married. He says that's not a solution, but she convinces him. He says he will, but that he wants to be the twins father - their only father, and Val agrees. Gary stops by to see the twins and begins to suspect that he may be their father.

JOSHUA intenta irrumpir en el apartamento de CATHY y luego destroza la casa de VAL. Esta lo echa de allí y LILIMAE se queda preocupada. En la emisora, descubre que BEN le ha cedido el programa a CATHY y se enzarza en una pelea con BEN. CATHY revela a BEN que JOSH está alarmado porque LILIMAE se está muriendo, pero BEN descubre que esta sólo tiene bursitis. GREG cree que PETER curiosea demasiado, pero él alega que le escatima mucha información. ABBY pide a GARY que pasen unos días fuera de la ciudad, para poder sacarlo de allí. VAN y BEN piden a los MACKENZIE que sean sus padrinos de boda y les sigan la corriente respecto a que BEN es el padre de los bebés. El día de la boda, VAL y LILIMAE hacen las paces. GARY decide acercar a OLIVIA antes de marcharse de la ciudad y se detiene para hablar con VAL. BEN no parece contento de verle...

Joshua tries to break into Cathy's apartment and then trashes Val's house. Val kicks him out and Lilimae is upset. At the station, Joshua finds out that Ben gave his show to Cathy, and he and Ben fight. Cathy tells Ben that Josh is upset because Lilimae is dying. Ben talks with her Doctor, who says Lilimae only has bursitis. Greg thinks Peter is snooping too much, but Peter says Greg is sloppy with information. Abby asks Gary to go away with her to get him out of town. Val and Ben ask the MacKenzies to stand up for them at their wedding, and to go along with them that Ben is the twin's father. On the day of the wedding, Val and Lilimae make up. Gary decides to drop Olivia off before going out of town and stops to talk to Val. Ben sees this and isn't happy.

BEN y VAL se casan y salen de luna de miel. ABBY recibe una llamada informándole de la muerte de ELLIOT, y deciden volver a casa. Tanto ABBY como GREG creen que el otro ha ordenado la muerte de ELLIOT. JOSH llena de flores el apartamento de CATHY, pero esta se traslada a casa de LAURA, que resulta herida cuando discute con JOSH. Este alega que sólo pegó a CATHY para que dejara de tomar drogas. Luego va a ver a LILIMAE y le cuenta que JONATHAN lo maltrataba. JOSH pasa la noche con LINDA, y le dice que no debe preocuparse, porque CATHY pronto dejará de ser una molestia.

Ben and Val get married and go on their honeymoon. On vacation, Abby gets a call that Elliot is dead, so they come home. Abby asks Greg why Elliot had to die, and surprised, he says he thought she had him killed. Cathy's apartment is filled with flowers from Joshua, and she is scared because he got in. She moves back in with Laura. Joshua and she fight, and he knocks Laura over. Joshua tells them he only hit Cathy to keep her off of drugs. He goes to Lilimae's and talks to her about how Jonathan physically abused him. Joshua is staying with Linda, and he tells her not to worry, that Cathy won't be in their way much longer.

10/140: "RISE AND FALL" ("ASCENSIÓN Y CAÍDA")

La viuda de ELLIOT explica a GARY que su marido había ido a E.V. porque no estaba satisfecho con las obras, y GARY se lo cuenta a MACK. VAL y LILIMAE están muy preocupados por JOSHUA, y lo encuentran predicando en la iglesia local. VAL propone llevarlo al psiquiatra, pero él revela a su madre que tiene un plan para que él y CATHY estén siempre juntos. Cuando ella se dispone a volver a casa, JOSH aparece en el asiento trasero de su coche y la amenaza con un cuchillo, ordenándole que conduzca hasta la iglesia. Luego la lleva a la azotea de un edificio cercano, y le dice que la va a tirar desde allí y luego se suicidará para poder estar juntos. LAURA llama a VAL porque CATHY está ausente, y LILIMAE va a la misión donde vio predicar a su hijo, y los localiza en la azotea. Le exige que suelte a la chica, y le llama cruel y mentiroso. JOSHUA la deja ir y empieza a caminar hacia atrás mientras su madre grita que es un monstruo y ella ya no es su madre. Él acaba tropezando y cayendo hasta el asfalto, donde muere.

Elliot's widow tells Gary Elliot was there because he was dissatisfied with how things were going at Empire Valley. Gary tells Mac. Val and Lilimae are really worried about Joshua. They find him preaching in the mission district. Val offers to take him to a psychiatrist. Joshua tells Lilimae he's come up with a plan for he and Cathy to be together forever. As Cathy drives home from the station, Joshua pops up from the backseat. Holding a knife to her neck, he instructs her to drive to the mission district. He takes her to the roof of a building. He tells her he's going to throw her over and kill himself, so they'll always be together. Laura calls Val's, worried that Cathy isn't home. Lilimae drives to the mission district where she saw Josh preach, and seeing Cathy's car, follows them to the building. Lilimae reaches the roof and yells at Joshua to let Cathy go. She screams that Joshua is cruel and a liar. Joshua puts Cathy down and starts backing up as Lilimae yells that he's a monster, and that she is no longer his mother. He continues backing up, and then trips over the edge of the building, and falls to the ground. Dead.

11/141: "TO SING HIS PRAISE" ("CANTARLE ALABANZAS")

CATHY quiere contarle a la policía lo que pasó, pero LILIMAE declara que JOSHUA y ella iban a reconciliarse y la llamó para verse allí. Cuando llegó, ya estaba muerto. JONATHAN vuelve a la ciudad para celebrar el funeral. GARY se enfrenta a ABBY para saber qué sucede realmente en E.V. COBLENTZ contrata a un asesino a sueldo para librarse de GARY y ABBY que intenta sacar su coche de la carretera. GARY se pone a investigar, encuentra la cámara subterránea y entra en una sala repleta de ordenadores y técnicos vestidos de blanco.

Cathy wants to tell the police what happened, but Lilimae tells the police that Joshua and Cathy were getting back together, and that he called her to meet him, but was dead when she arrived. Jonathan comes to town to perform Joshua's funeral. Gary confronts Abby and wants to know what is "really" going on at Lotus Point. Coblentz wants Gary out of Empire Valley and hires a hit man to kill Gary and Abby. The hitman tries to run Gary off the road. Gary snoops around and finds the underground chamber. He goes into a room that is filled with technical equipment and white-coated technicians.

12/142: "ALL´S WELL" ("TODO VA BIEN")

BEN invita a CATHY a quedarse en su casa de la playa. LILIMAE culpa a BEN de la muerte de su hijo y él decide ir a vivir con CATHY. KENNY, el novio de LINDA, le dice que presenció la muerte de JOSHUA. GARY comunica a GREG que va a vender E.V. y le pide que aleje al asesino a sueldo. Si algo le ocurre, le dejará E.V. a MACK. GREG informa a COBLENTZ que GARY venderá, pero él no avisa al asesino. GARY manda fuera a los niños y, junto con ABBY, empieza a llevar cosas a los edificios de E.V. GREG, MACK y KAREN acuden a toda prisa. El asesino a sueldo está a punto de matar a GARY, pero todos le avisan gritando. Él activa un control remoto y todo el conglomerado explota. GREG y ABBY se enfurecen, pero GARY no puede sentirse más feliz...

Ben lets Cathy move into his beach house. Lilimae blames Ben for Joshua's death and decides to move in with Cathy. Kenny, Linda's boyfriend, tells her that he was there when Joshua died. Gary tells Greg he'll sell Empire Valley, and to call off the hit man. He says if anything happens to him, he's left Empire Valley to Mac. Greg tells Coblentz that Gary will sell, but Coblentz tells the hit man to kill them anyway. Gary sends the kids away, and makes Abby dress in coveralls and help him to carry things into the buildings at Empire Valley. Gary has the security guard call Greg. Greg rushes to Empire Valley, and so do Mac and Karen. The hitman is about to shoot Gary, but just then everyone drives up and yells to Gary to watch out. Gary activates a remote control, and all of the structures in Empire Valley blow up. Greg and Abby are furious, but Gary whoops with joy!

LINDA informa a la policía que sospecha que su novio mató a JOSHUA. LILIMAE quiere volver con VAL, pero ella no está segura de quererlo porque se ha portado mal con BEN. GARY ignora a ABBY y se hospeda en L.P. GREG sostiene una conferencia de prensa para comunicar que GARY voló su propiedad a causa de los daños estructurales que había. Luego, habla a un retrato de GALVESTON y le dice que le ha permitido volver de la tumba y manipularle. COBLENTZ le controló porque era débil, y no lo bastante malvado, duro o cruel para alejarlos, porque no era un bárbaro como su padre. "Enhorabuena - añade - has engendrado una nueva raza de bárbaros," y luego promete superar a su padre a la hora de crear su propio imperio, y no dejar que nada ni nadie se interponga en su camino.

Linda goes to the police and says she thinks her boyfriend Kenny murdered Joshua. Lilimae wants to move back in with Val, but Val isn't sure, as she's always so mean to Ben. Gary ignores Abby and stays at Lotus Point. Greg gives a press conference saying that Gary blew up Empire Valley because of structural damages. Greg speaks to a portrait of Galveston about how he let him reach back from the grave and manipulate him. Greg says that Coblentz gained control because he was weak, and not mean, hard or cruel enough to hold them off, because he was not a barbarian like his father. He says, "Congratulations, you've hatched a new breed of barbarian," and he then vows to go even further than Galveston in creating his own empire, and will let nobody and nothing stand in his way.

PETER confía a LAURA que GREG la necesita, y ella lo invita a cenar. GARY le dice a VAL que sabe que los gemelos son hijos suyos, y ella responde que debe respetar que ha formado una familia con ellos y BEN. Ya que sigue visitándolos, este le pide que deje de hacerlo. ABBY se enfada cuando GARY apoya a KAREN en un problema de L.P. Le dice que confía en ella pero no en ABBY, y por eso siempre estará de su parte, y más vale que se acostumbre. JILL informa a KAREN que el Gobernador quiere saber si le interesaría formar parte de la Comisión de Planificación del Estado. KAREN le dice que sí. JILL se muestra muy fría con MACK, quien la presenta a GARY. KENNY es detenido por el asesinato de JOSHUA. CATHY quiere contar la verdad pero LILIMAE asegura que la policía le soltará si siguen calladas. Sin embargo, el chico es acusado del crimen.

Peter tells Laura that Greg needs her, so she invites him to dinner. Gary tells Val that he knows the twins are his. She tells him that he needs to respect that she, Ben and the twins are a family. Gary continues to hang around the twins, so Ben tells Gary it has to stop. Abby gets mad when Gary sides with Karen on a Lotus Point issue. He says that he trusts Karen and doesn't trust her, so he will always side with Karen, and she'd better get used to it. Jill tells Karen the Governor wants to know if she'd be interested in being on the State Planning Commission. Karen says yes. Jill is very cool towards Mac, who introduces Gary to Jill. Kenny is arrested for Joshua's murder. Cathy wants to tell the truth, but Lilimae says they will release him if they keep quiet. However, Kenny is charged with the murder.

Cuando ABBY se entera de que KAREN es candidata para la Comisión, dice a GREG que quiere el puesto para ella. Intenta hablar con GARY, pero este le comunica que todo ha acabado entre ellos, e invita a JILL a salir. BEN se siente furioso porque GARY sabe la verdad sobre los gemelos, pero VAL le jura que no se la dicho. GREG envía a LAURA una nota de amor y le propone cenar juntos. LAURA pregunta a MACK cómo puede divorciarse ya que no encuentra a RICHARD. CATHY sigue queriendo contar la verdad, y se siente deprimida. BEN intenta animarla y, finalmente, le cuenta todo a MACK. Éste le pide a VAL que hable con LILIMAE. Ella lo intenta, pero la mujer dice que eso mancharía el recuerdo de JOSHUA. Al final, VAL la convence diciéndole que KENNY también tiene madre y LILIMAE acude a la comisaría...

When Abby hears that Karen is being considered for the planning commission, she tells Greg that she wants the seat. Abby tries to talk to Gary, but he says it's over, and he invites Jill for a drink. Ben is angry that Gary knows about the twins, but Val swears she didn't tell him. Greg sends Laura a note that says "I Love You Very Much" and takes her out for a romantic evening. Laura asks Mac how she can get divorced since she can't find Richard. Cathy still wants to tell the truth, and is depressed over the situation. Ben tries to cheer her up. Cathy finally tells Mac the truth, and Mac tells Val to talk to Lilimae. Val tries, but Lilimae says it would tarnish Joshua's memory. Finally, Val gets through to her by saying that Kenny has a mother too. Lilimae goes to the police station.

JILL informa a KAREN de que alguien ha hablado con el Gobernador a favor de ABBY, pero ella intentará ayudarle. ABBY recuerda a KAREN que su problema de drogas podría impedir que consiguiera el cargo, y ella decide ponerles al tanto del tema, pero el Gobernador acaba eligiendo a ABBY. PETER hace saber a GREG que estudió Derecho. Luego visita a su "madre" y hablan de que pronto recibirán una enorme suma de dinero. La policía comunica a MACK que tanto CATHY como LILIMAE podrían ser culpadas del asesinato, ya que la primera cumplió condena por asesinato y la segunda atropelló a CHIP. CATHY conoce al nuevo saxofonista de su programa, SONNY HARKINS, que, sin saberlo ella, graba todas sus conversaciones.

Jill tells Karen that someone spoke to the Governor on Abby's behalf, but she'll do all she can to help her. Abby tells Karen that they won't choose her because of her drug problem. Karen tells them about her drug problem, but it's too late - the Governor already chose Abby. Peter lets Greg know he went to law school. He then visits his "mother" and they talk about how they'll have a lot of money soon. The police tell Mac that they may be charged with murder - after all, Cathy was in prison for murder, and Lilimae had run over Chip. Cathy has a new saxophone player on her show, Sonny Harkins. Unbeknownst to her, he tapes their conversations.

La policía decide no acusar a LILIMAE y CATHY, pero una revista sensacionalista publica un artículo sobre la tragedia. PETER y su madre comentan la relación de ella con PAUL y que PETER es el hermanastro de GREG. JILL dice a MACK que el Gobernador quiere que siga colaborando con él, y ocupará el despacho contiguo al suyo. Además, le da la llave de la habitación de su hotel y él va hasta allí, pero decide no entrar. OLIVIA oye por accidente una charla telefónica de ABBY y GREG, en la que se revela un gran secreto. Preocupada, OLIVIA pide a los MACKENZIE que la dejen vivir con ellos. Luego dice a su madre que, si no lo permite, le contará a GARY lo de los niños:

"Si me obligas a volver contigo, le diré a todos los jueces del mundo que sabías que GARY era el padre de los gemelos y que sabías que estaban vivos y habían sido secuestrados, y no hiciste nada al respecto. ¿Crees que te considerarían una buena madre después de saber eso?" - le pregunta a ABBY, que acaba marchándose con GARY.

The police decide not to prosecute Lilimae and Cathy, however a story about what happened is in the tabloid that Sonny works at. Peter and his mother discuss her relationship with Galveston, and how Peter is Greg's half-brother. Jill tells Mac that the Governor wants her to work with him, and she'll be moving into the office next to his. She gives him the key to her room at the Bryant Hotel. Mac drives by the hotel but decides not to go in. Greg calls Abby, and Olivia picks up an extension. Then she hears a terrible secret. Upset, Olivia asks the McKenzies if she can live with them, though she won't say why. Abby and Gary go to get her, and she tells Abby that if she doesn't let her live there, she will tell Gary about the twins:

"If you force me to go back with you, I will tell any court in the world that you knew that Gary was the father of Val's twins, and you knew that they were alive and kidnapped, and you didn't do anything about it. You think they would find you a fit mother after they knew that?" Olivia asks her, and Abby leaves, very upset.

PETER revela a GREG que es su hermano y le presenta a SYLVIA. LAURA sospecha que el joven tiene intenciones ocultas y se queda frustrada cuando GREG siente indiferencia por ello. ABBY oye casualmente a LAURA hablando de esto con KAREN, e invita a PETER a tomar una copa. GARY decide dedicarse a las carreras automovilísticas. KAREN encuentra la llave de JILL en el bolsillo de MACK y se enfrenta con su marido. MACK intenta explicarle que nunca la habría usado pero le hacía sentirse más joven, vivo, como si la vida no se le estuviera escapando, y espera que lo entienda, pero ella es incapaz. MACK se enfada con JILL porque no le pidió permiso para consultar el archivo de WESTPHALL. Mientras, SONNY sale a cenar con CATHY y esta le cuenta que JOSHUA trató de tirarla desde la azotea, y que LILIMAE le salvó la vida.

Peter tells Greg that he's his brother, and brings Sylvia to meet him. Laura thinks Peter is up to something, and is frustrated that Greg seems unconcerned. Abby overhears Laura telling this to Karen, and she asks Peter out for a drink. Gary decides to go into racing. Karen finds Jill's hotel key in Mac's pocket and confronts him with it. He tries to explain that he would never use it, but it made him feel younger, more alive, like life wasn't passing him by, and he hopes Karen will understand. Crying, she says no. Mac's upset that Jill went through his Westfall file without permission. Meanwhile, Sonny is out to dinner with Cathy. She tells him how Joshua tried to throw her off of the roof, and that Lilimae saved her life.

Una revista sensacionalista publica un artículo que afirma que JOSHUA intentó matar a CATHY. BEN le explica que SONNY trabaja para esa revista, lo cual la hace llorar, y él la consuela. CATHY abofetea a SONNY, que alega que quería contar su versión de la historia. GREG informa a LAURA que PAUL tenía un archivo sobre SYLVIA, y le enviaba cheques mensuales. GREG le dice a PETER que puede demostrar su lealtad ayudándole a recuperar EMPIRE VALLEY y arruinar a GARY y ABBY. MACK devuelve a JILL la llave, y luego le pide disculpas a su esposa. Ella sigue furiosa y él la acusa de sacarlo todo de su contexto. VAL apoya a MACK, diciendo que no usó la llave y que no debería arriesgar su matrimonio por su herido orgullo, pero KAREN aún se siente traicionada.

The tabloid has an article about how Joshua tried to kill Cathy. Ben tells her that Sonny works for the tabloid. She breaks down crying and Ben comforts her. Cathy slaps Sonny, who tells her he had to do it, to tell her side of the story. Greg tells Laura that Galveston kept a file on Sylvia, and sent her monthly checks. Greg tells Peter that he can prove his loyalty by working with him to recover Empire Valley and bring down Gary and Abby. Mac gives her back the key and it upsets Jill. Mac apologizes to Karen and gives her flowers, but she's still angry, and he accuses her of blowing it out of proportion. Val takes Mac's side, saying he didn't use the key and that she shouldn't lose her marriage because of her hurt pride, but Karen insists she feels betrayed.

SYLVIA teme que el doble juego de PETER acabe pasándole factura. GARY y JILL comienzan una aventura, y más tarde se topan con PETER, que le pregunta a ella si GARY sospecha algo y ella le dice que no. ABBY contrata a un detective para que investigue a JILL. MICHAEL descubre que OLIVIA está en posesión de un porro, pero ella contesta que se lo guarda a un amigo. VAL celebra una fiesta de cumpleaños para los gemelos, y abren una tarjeta de regalo de GARY con la escritura de la mitad de Eal throws a party for the twins' first birthday. They open the card from Gary and inside is a deed to half of Empire Valley.

Karen and Mac make up. Greg asks Peter to start a social relationship with Abby. Peter tells Sylvia that Greg wants him to spy on Abby, and Abby wants him to spy on Greg. Sylvia is concerned that Peter's double-dealing will backfire on him. Gary and Jill sleep together. Later, they run into Peter, who asks Jill if Gary suspects anything. She says no. Abby hires a detective to check out Jill. Michael finds that Olivia has a joint, but she says she's holding it for a friend. Val throws a party for the twins' first birthday. They open the card from Gary and inside is a deed to half of Empire Valley.

ABBY encuentra un porro en el bolso de OLIVIA y le sonsaca la verdad. Pero ella la amenaza con contarlo todo sobre los gemelos y ABBY la anima a hacerlo. El juez deja en libertad a OLIVIA pero la obliga a unirse a un grupo de apoyo. GREG ofrece a PETER cinco millones, pero él no los acepta. JILL explica a MACK que su padre era el antiguo propietario de E.V., y PAUL le engañó para vendérselo, y luego su padre se suicidó. CATHY confía a BEN que quiere dejar el programa. Por su parte, BEN revela a MACK que está harto de que GARY se entrometa en su vida. MACK informa a GARY que su fideicomiso podría costarle a VAL el matrimonio, y debería pensar en las consecuencias antes de actuar. BEN y CATHY se dan un beso. Cuando GARY vuelve a casa, se encuentra a una furiosa ABBY:

"Mis hijos te consideran su padre, eres una gran parte de sus vidas, y ahora, de repente, te marchas...Te vas a correr carreras de bólidos y a perseguir a otras mujeres. Estás en racha, ¿verdad? Primero haces fracasar nuestro negocio, luego le fallas a OLIVIA y a nuestro matrimonio. No paras de empeorar las cosas para todos..." GARY le responde enseguida: "Creo que tienes razón. Pero te garantizo que las cosas van a mejorar para todos. Quiero el divorcio, ABBY."

Abby finds a joint in Olivia's purse and makes her tell the truth. Olivia threatens her with the twins, and Abby says to go ahead and tell. The judge lets Olivia off, but says she has to join a support group. Greg offers Peter 5 million dollars. Peter doesn't accept and tells Sylvia it's a test. Jill tells Mac that her father used to own Empire Valley, and Galveston swindled him out of it, so her father shot himself. Cathy tells Ben she wants to leave the show. He confides in Mac that he is tired of Gary being in his life whichever way he turns. He and Cathy kiss. Mac tells Gary that his little trust fund stunt could cost Val her marriage, and he needs to think of consequences before he does things. When he comes home, finds an outraged Abby:

"My children think of you as their father. You're a big part of their lives, and now all of a sudden, you're gone! You're off racing cars and running around with women! You're really on a roll now, aren't you, Gary? First of all, you failed the business, the business that we started together, then you fail Olivia, then you fail me and our marriage! You just keep going on and on and on making things worse for everyone all the time!" Gary quickly answers her: "When you're right, you're right. But I guarantee you things are going to be better for everybody. I'm divorcing you, Abby."

25/155: "THE LEGACY" ("EL LEGADO")

GREG pide a LAURA que se case con él y ella contesta que lo pensará. Luego él despide a PETER. ABBY averigua que PAUL vertió ácido y arsénico en E.V., y se lo ofrece a GREG. Él no acepta, sospechando de que desee venderlo tan rápido. PETER está furioso con SYLVIA por contarle la verdad a ABBY, y ella asegura merecer el dinero ya que dio a luz al hijo de PAUL. Él responde que ha hecho todo el trabajo y amenaza a SYLVIA. ABBY le dice a PETER que quiere el 51% del dinero que consiga o revelará a GREG que no es hijo de SYLVIA. Cuando JILL descubre que GARY ha cedido E.V. a ABBY, accede a ayudar a PETER a quitárselo a esta. JILL acaba diciéndole a PETER que quiere dejar el plan, porque se ha enamorado de GARY y no quiere hacerle daño. PETER le recuerda que PAUL mató a sus padres, y que han llegado demasiado lejos para echarse atrás.

Greg asks Laura to marry him. She says she will consider it. Greg fires Peter. Eric is very sick with arsenic poisoning. Abby finds out that Galveston dumped acid and arsenic in Empire Valley. She offers to sell Empire Valley to Greg, but he doesn't buy it, suspicious she wants to sell it so fast. Peter's mad at Sylvia for telling Abby everything. Sylvia says she deserves the money, as she really had Galveston's baby. Peter says he has done all the work and threatens Sylvia. Abby tells Peter she wants 51% of whatever money he gets or she will tell Greg that he's not Sylvia's son. When Jill finds out Gary gave Empire Valley to Abby, she agrees to work with Peter to get it from Abby. Jill tells Peter that she wants out of the plan, because she's fallen in love with Gary and doesn't want to hurt him. Peter reminds her that Galveston killed their parents, and that they've come too far to turn back now.

BEN se muestra preocupado por la marcha de CATHY, y le confía que no es el padre de los gemelos. Cuando le lleva un regalo a su casa de la playa, acaban haciendo el amor. VAL siente que pierde el amor de BEN. JILL cuenta a GARY que no puede verle porque se ha enamorado de él sin quererlo. MACK descubre que el depósito de L.P. está repleto de arsénico. ABBY admite que PAUL lo vertió y GREG informa a LAURA de que PAUL se lo dejó a GARY porque sabía que estaba contaminado, pero desea adquirirlo igualmente porque detesta ser un perdedor. Todos discuten sobre la responsabilidad para limpiar E.V., y GREG cree que debería ser GARY ya que fue su explosión lo que dio inicio a la fuga.

Ben's really upset about Cathy leaving. He tells her that he isn't the twins' father. He goes to the beach house with a gift for her and they make out. Val is worried because she feels Ben slipping away from her. Jill tells Gary that she can't see him because she's in love with him, but doesn't want to be. Mac finds out that the reservoir at Lotus Point is loaded with arsenic. Abby admits that Galveston dumped arsenic at Empire Valley. Greg tells Laura that Galveston left Gary the land because he knew it was polluted, but he wants to buy it anyway, because he hates to lose. Everyone argues over who is responsible for cleaning up Empire Valley. Gary thinks Greg should, as Galveston dumped the chemicals. Greg thinks Gary should, as his explosion started the leak.

GREG y LAURA se casan por fin en LAS VEGAS. Ella tiene dudas pero él confiesa que la ama y necesita. Más tarde, KAREN pregunta a LAURA si puede ayudar a GREG en la limpieza de L.P., y esta señala que una esposa debería ejercer su influencia en su marido. Así pues, LAURA le pide a GREG que limpie los terrenos como regalo de bodas. GREG informa a KAREN de que lo hará en 4 meses si le devuelve todo E.V., o ya puede despedirse de L.P. ERIC es dado de alta en el hospital. CATHY no quiere dejar a BEN y este se siente culpable, pero ella le aconseja que debería permitirse ser feliz en vez de poner a los demás en primer lugar.

Greg takes Laura to Las Vegas to get married at the Wedding Chapel of Joy. She's reluctant, but he tells her how much he loves and needs her. Later, Karen and ask Laura if there's anything she can do to get Greg to help with the cleanup of Lotus Point, and Laura remarks that a wife should have some influence over her husband. Laura asks Greg to clean up Empire Valley for her wedding present. Greg tells Karen he will clean up Empire Valley in 4 months if she will get him all of Empire Valley back, or she can kiss Lotus Point goodbye. Eric comes home from the hospital. Cathy tells Ben she doesn't want to leave him. Ben feels guilty, but Cathy says he should let himself feel happiness instead of always putting other's first.

Acuden al Senador HENDERSON e intentan conseguir un préstamo, pero sin éxito. ABBY revela a GARY que la familia de JILL era dueña de E.V. y que sólo está con él porque desea recuperarlo. Luego esta reconoce ante GARY que así fue al principio pero acabó enamorada de él. HENDERSON va a retirarse y GREG cree que PETER debería sustituirlo. , and Greg thinks Peter should be the next Senator. El director de L.P. fallece envenenado de arsénico y empiezan a llover las anulaciones. KAREN decide cerrar LOTUS POINT. VAL confiesa a BEN que nota que algo va mal y le gustaría resolverlo, pero él dice que tiene muchas cosas en mente. CATHY le pide a BEN que se marche con ella de gira y sea su agente.

Abby wants Karen to take Greg's deal. Gary and Karen try to figure out a way to clean up Empire Valley themselves. They turn to the EPA, Senator Henderson, and even try to get a loan, but nothing works out. Abby tells Gary that Jill's family owned Empire Valley, and that she's only with Gary because she wants Empire Valley back. Later Jill admits to Gary that when she first went out with him, she wanted Empire Valley, but then she fell in love with him. He coolly asks her "Is that it?" Henderson is retiring, and Greg thinks Peter should be the next Senator. The Lotus Point groundskeeper dies of arsenic poisoning, and several people cancel their reservations. Karen decides to close Lotus Point. Val tells Ben she senses something is wrong, and she'd like to work through it with him. He says he has a lot on his mind. Cathy asks Ben to go on the road with her and be her manager.

GARY se ofrece a quedarse de nuevo con E.V. y vendérselo a GREG si le garantiza la limpieza. GREG explica a LAURA que desea que PETER entre en política porque así él también volverá a ella. PETER se resiste y GREG le dice que, si se presenta, le reconocerá públicamente como hermano y le pagará una enorme suma. Por otro lado, deja de enviarle los cheques a SYLVIA. ABBY aconseja a PETER que acepte y se acuesta con él. MACK se preocupa cuando KAREN falta a la comida y no puede localizarla. BEN comunica a CATHY que la acompañará y ella se emociona. Cuando se lo dice a VAL, esta se queda atónita e intenta disuadirle, temerosa de que vaya a dejarla. BEN le asegura que sólo serán 6 semanas, y necesita tiempo para pensar. LILIMAE, enfadada con CATHY, le da un bofetón. Más tarde, BEN se marcha...PAIGE MATHESON aparece en la puerta de los MACKENZIE. Cuando MACK vuelve a casa, la joven le dice: "Llevo mucho tiempo queriendo conocerte. Soy tu hija."

Gary offers to take back Empire Valley from the twins. He then agrees to sell it to Greg if he will guarantee the cleanup. Greg tells Laura that he wants Peter in politics because then he will be back in politics. Peter's resistant, so Greg says if he will run, he will publicly acknowledge him as his brother and give him a big settlement. Greg also stops Sylvia's monthly check. Abby also tells Peter to accept Greg's offer, and she sleeps with him. Mac is worried when Karen misses lunch and he can't locate her. Ben tells Cathy he will go on tour with her, and Cathy is excited. He tells Val, who is stunned. Val tries to talk him out of it and is scared he is leaving her. Ben assures her it is only for 6 weeks, and he really needs the time away to think about things. Lilimae is angry at Cathy and slaps her. Ben leaves. Paige Matheson shows up at the MacKenzies. When Mac gets home, she says "I've wanted to meet you for a long time. I'm your daughter."

PAIGE cuenta a MACK que le estaba buscando porque su madre ANNE ha fallecido. Él la invita a quedarse con ellos, pero ella prefiere no hacerlo. JILL y GARY hacen las paces. Una afectada VAL va a casa de BEN, rompe en pedazos una foto de CATHY y lo deja todo patas arriba. Preocupada por ella, LILIMAE llama a GARY, que la encuentra sentada en la playa. Ambos lloran juntos y luego rompen a reír. BEN le dice a CATHY que no puede irse con ella. Ella reconoce que no quería hacer daño a VAL, pero se ha enamorado de él y no pensaba con claridad. MACK pierde los estribos ante la ausencia de KAREN y hace que se emita una orden de búsqueda. Mientras, KAREN se despierta en un sótano. Aterrorizada, se da cuenta de que la han encerrado allí e intenta romper una ventana con un neumático. Pero un hombre baja entonces y le ordena que no lo haga...
