Siguen como secundarios JOSEPH COUSINS, EMILY ANN LLOYD, RHIANNA JANNETTE, CARLOS CANTÚ, VICTORIA ANN LEWIS, MORT HAINING y ZANE LASKY retomando sus personajes anteriores. Como actores invitados aparecen BOYD KESTNER (en los 3 primeros episodios), FELICITY WATERMAN (en 15 a partir del 2º), MAREE CHEATHAM (en los 8 primeros), LORENZO CACCIALANZA (en 14 a partir del 3º) y BRUCE GREENWOOD (sólo en el primero). JOAN VAN ARK y DONNA MILLS reaparecen en el doble episodio final.

PIERCE amenaza a PAIGE con un cuchillo, pero ella sale deprisa del coche y lo arrestan mientras grita que quiere a la joven. MARY devuelve a MEG y les dice a los MACKENZIE que es la madre de LAURA. La mujer contrata a una abogada llamada TONI FIELDS, para obtener los derechos de visita, pero ella busca dinero. CLAUDIA echa a ALEX de su casa. GREG se ha instalado en una remota cabaña, pero ANNE lo encuentra y le dice que está embarazada. El no quiere que se quede con el bebé y le pide que se vaya, pero ANNE no le hace caso y se marcha de escalada seguido por ANNE. GARY está preocupado porque VAL no ha vuelto de FLORIDA pero ya se ha ido del hotel...

Pierce pulls a knife on Paige. She jumps out of the car. Alex is there, and punches Pierce out. Pierce is arrested screaming that he loves Paige. Mary returns Meg and tells McKenzie's she's Laura's mother. Mary gets a lawyer, Toni Fields, to win visitation rights, but she really wants money. Claudia kicks Alex out. Greg is at a remote cabin, but Anne finds him and tells him she's pregnant. He doesn't want her to keep the baby, and wants her to leave. She won't, so he goes off hiking and Anne follows. Gary is worried when Val doesn't return from Florida, but has checked out of her hotel.

GARY decide ir a buscar a VAL a FLORIDA. KATE pide a VANESSA que se vaya porque va a vivir con ALEX, y después encuentra a ambos juntos en la ducha, y los echa de casa. ANNE quiere quedarse con el bebé y GREG responde que, en ese caso, deberían casarse, y regresan a la ciudad. MARY decide llevar a juicio a los MACKENZIE por lo que estos piden ayuda a GREG, que asegura que se encargará de ella. ANNE le dice a PAIGE que ha arruinado su relación GREG y ella se va a casar con él. PAIGE se viene abajo y rompe a llorar...

Gary decides to go to Florida to look for Val. Kate asks Vanessa to leave because Alex is moving in with her. Kate catches Alex and Vanessa in the shower together and kicks them both out. Anne says she is going to keep the baby, so Greg says that in that case they should get married. They return home. Mary decides to bring the MacKenzies to court, so Karen and Mac ask Greg to help. He tells them he'll take care of it. Anne tells Paige that Paige dropped the ball with Greg, and now she is going to marry Greg. Paige breaks down and cries.

GREG decide comprar el silencio de MARY pero ella quiere sólo el dinero. Los MACKENZIE están furiosos porque le ha contado a la niña que es adoptada. CLAUDIA consigue un empleo a VANESSA en la cadena de radio y ALEX intenta hacer las paces con KATE, y luego flirtea con PAIGE, aunque finalmente vuelve al Este. GREG recibe la misión de reconstruir L.A. tras los disturbios y busca la ayuda de PAIGE. GARY no averigua nada de VAL en FLORIDA, y KATE se instala temporalmente en casa de CLAUDIA. NICK vuelve a la ciudad y ANNE descubre que no está embarazada, sino que pasa por la menopausia...

Greg decides to pay off Mary, but she says it's not about money. The MacKenzies are mad that she told Meg about the adoption. Claudia gets Vanessa a job at a music television station, and Alex tries to get back with Kate, and then comes on to Paige. Alex decides to go back east. Greg is appointed to a task force to rebuild Los Angeles after the riots and wants Paige to be part of it. Gary is frustrated that he didn't find anything out about Val in Florida. Kate decides to stay at Claudia's for awhile. Nick comes back to town. Anne finds out that she isn't pregnant, but is going through menopause.

En FLORIDA, GARY descubre que VAL ha sido raptada y persigue el coche de sus raptores, presuntamente con ella dentro. Pero el auto tiene un accidente y explota. ANNE planea una gran boda con GREG pero él prefiere algo modesto. Por otra parte, quiere que su comisión patrocine un complejo deportivo para los jóvenes de los barrios pobres y que sea el G.S. quien lo construya. El juez concede los derechos de visita a MEG...

In Florida, Gary discovers Val has been kidnapped. He chases Val and the kidnappers in his car. The car that Val is in crashes and blows up. Anne plans her wedding with Greg. She wants a big wedding, but she tells him to keep it small. Greg wants his commission to sponsor a sports complex for inner-city youth, and wants Sumner Group to build the complex. The Judge gives Mary visiting rights to Meg.

KATE consuela a GARY cuando VAL es dada por muerta, e incluso le besa, pero él se echa atrás. Se celebra un funeral y BETSY se escapa ya que no cree que VAL esté muerta. GREG nombra al ex jugador de béisbol BILL NOLAN para su comisión, y este se enfrenta a PAIGE, que accede a salir con él y colaborar en el proyecto. ANNE confía a MACK que no está embarazada y toma pastillas de fertilidad, y él le aconseja que se lo diga a GREG, pero nolo hace. ANNE quiere que PAIGE asista a la boda, pero ella no porque aún ama a GREG. Antes de la ceremonia, GREG se acerca al apartamento de PAIGE y la ve en la cama con BILL. Entonces decide acudir a la iglesia, aunque se sienta que va a la cárcel, y se casa con ANNE...

Kate comforts Gary and the twins about Val's death. Gary and Kate start to kiss, but he says he can't. A memorial service is held, and Betsy runs out, not believing Val is dead. Karen's upset over Val's death. Greg appoints Bill Nolan, an ex-baseball player to his commission. Bill antagonizes Paige, but she agrees to go out with him, and to back the sports complex. Anne confides in Mac that she isn't pregnant, but is taking fertility pills. Mac thinks she should tell Greg, but she doesn't. Anne wants Paige to attend the wedding, but she won't because she still loves Greg. Before the wedding, Greg feels like he's going to prison, and lets himself into Paige's apartment, but sees her in bed with Bill. Greg then decides to go to the church and marry Anne.

PAIGE confiesa a BILL que durmió con él por despecho y a él no le importa, pero PAIGE no quiere salir con él. NICK se va a vivir con CLAUDIA y ella le financia un restaurante italiano para que se quede en la ciudad y en su cama. Además, él comunica a VANESSA que ha llegado a la ciudad, y la joven se preocupa y le pide que no cuente su secreto, a lo que accede ya que su futuro podría depender de ella. KATE se siente culpable por sus sentimientos hacia GARY. MEG no quiere ver a MARY y esta le dice que si no lo hace, el juez podría obligarla a vivir con ella. JOE ROBESON cuenta a los MACKENZIE que puede sacar de su vida a MARY por un precio, pero la tensión causa su efecto en el matrimonio. Al final, MACK le pide a PAIGE un millón de dólares...

Paige tells Bill she slept with him on the rebound. He still wants to go out, but she rejects him. Nick moves in with Claudia. She buys him an Italian restaurant to keep him in town and in her bed. Nick lets Vanessa know he's in town. She's upset and asks him not to tell her secret. He says he won't as his future might depend on her. Kate feels guilty about her crush on Gary. Meg doesn't want to see Mary, and Mary tells her if she doesn't, the Judge might make Meg live with her. Joe Robeson tells the MacKenzies he can get Mary out of their life if he pays them. The stress is taking a toll on Mac and Karen's marriage. Mac asks Paige for a million dollars.

7/332: "BYE BYE LOVE" ("ADIÓS, AMOR MÍO")

VANESSA teme ser despedida porque tiene poca audiencia, pero halla las pastillas de ANNE. BILL pide a PAIGE que se vaya con él a JAPÓN pero ella no está enamorada. GARY acepta un empleo de supervisor del edificio deportivo. KAREN informa a TONI de que MARY sólo busca dinero, y la abogada acaba siendo despedida. Cuando PAIGE se ve incapaz de reunir el millón, MACK se lo pide a CLAUDIA, y esta accede a recaudar fondos para él, y lo consigue, aunque sólo le da la mitad a MACK. La otra mitad se la queda ella para financiar a NICK. MACK guarda el dinero en un maletín con localizador y le pide a GARY que lo filme cuando se lo entregue a MARY, pero la batería de su cámara se agota y él toma prestada una a un turista. Sin embargo, el turista bloquea el plano de GARY al intentar recuperarla y MARY se marcha con el dinero...

Vanessa's scared of being fired, because her ratings are low. She finds Anne's fertility pills. Bill asks Paige to go to Japan with him, but she says she isn't in love with him. Gary takes a job overseeing the building of the sports complex. Karen tells Toni that Mary only wants money. Toni asks Mary, who fires her. Paige can't get the money, so Mac asks Claudia's help. She tells him to make up a phony charity for the money. Claudia gets a million dollars, but only gives Mac half, keeping the other half for herself and Nick's restaurant. Mac puts the money in a briefcase with a tracking device. He asks Gary to tape him giving it to Mary. However, the battery in Gary's video camera dies, so he takes a battery from a tourist. The tourist, trying to retrieve the battery, blocks Gary's shot. Mary walks off with the money.

VANESSA pide a ANNE 2.000 dólares semanales por guardarle el secreto. Además, ANNE está preocupada porque GREG pasa todo su tiempo en el comité y descubre que ha enviado a BILL a JAPÓN. ANNE se cae del caballo y miente a GREG diciéndole que ha perdido el bebé. NICK regala a CLAUDIA un collar y KAREN está molesta porque MACK intentó engañar a MARY. MARY entrega a su hermano parte del dinero y le dice que seguirá viendo a la niña hasta que le paguen el resto. MACK discute acaloradamente con MARY y un vecino los oye. KAREN va a ver a la mujer y, cuando llega, encuentra el apartamento revuelto y a MARY muerta en el suelo...

Vanessa tells Anne she wants $ 2000 a week to keep her secret. Anne's upset that Greg spends all his time on the committee, and not with her. She learns Greg had Bill sent to Japan. Anne falls off a horse and tells Greg she lost they baby. Nick gives Claudia a necklace. Karen's upset that Mac tried to set Mary up. Mary gives her brother Joe some money, but says she's going to see Meg until they give her the rest of the million. Mac yells at Mary and her neighbor comes to see if she's okay. Karen decides to talk to Mary. She goes to her apartment and finds it trashed, and Mary is dead on the floor.

KATE ayuda a GARY a contratar a una criada y le confiesa que siente algo por él. ANNE revela a GREG que nunca estuvo embarazada pero será una buena esposa, y él le contesta que es un matrimonio de conveniencia y no debe volver a mencionar a PAIGE. KAREN encuentra una cinta de su encuentro con MACK, la esconde y llama a la policía. TOM es la persona a cargo del caso, y MACK quema la cinta. Pero MARY le había enviado una copia a TONI, y esta se la da a la policía. CLAUDIA informa a TOM que MACK falsificó su firma para conseguir un millón para "Pacific Preservation Co." Más tarde, encuentran las huellas de este en el cenicero usado para matar a MARY, y lo detienen por su asesinato...

Kate helps Gary hire a housekeeper, and tells him that she has feelings for him. Vanessa's upset that Anne won't give her money. Anne tells Greg she was never pregnant, but that she'll be a good wife. Greg tells her it is a marriage of convenience, and she is never to bring up Paige to him. Karen finds a tape Mary made of her meeting with Mac. She hides it and calls police. They put Tom Ryan in charge. Mac burns the tape, but Mary had sent a copy to Toni, which she gives the police. Tom wants to know where he got the money. Claudia tells Tom that Mac filed papers with her for "Pacific Preservation Co." and forged her signature to get a million dollars. Police find Mac's fingerprints on the ashtray that killed Mary, and they arrest him for her murder.

10/335: "THE INVISIBLE MAN" ("EL HOMBRE INVISIBLE")

KAREN contrata a WILLIAM REED para que defienda a MACK. Pero él lo despide y hace que le diga a KAREN que no quiere verla. La fianza se fija en un millón y MACK vuelve a la cárcel. TOM averigua que el dinero estaba marcado y MACK es inocente. PAIGE se entera de que CLAUDIA financió el restaurante de NICK y deduce la verdad sobre el asunto. VANESSA es obligada por este a quedarse en el país. GREG accede a pagar la fianza de MACK. Esa noche, PAIGE intenta entrar en el despacho de CLAUDIA, y encuentra a GREG en su sofá. Este le aconseja que se aleje de TOM. Cuando el policía va a verla, intenta besarla pero ella le da una bofetada...

Karen retains Attorney William Reed to represent Mack. Buy she learns Mack fired his attorney, Reed, and he doesn't want to see her. Bail is already set at one million dollars and that Mack is back in jail. Tom finds out that the money was marked and Mack is innocent. Paige learns that Claudia provided the funds for Nick's new restaurant and concludes that half of that money went to Mack and the other half to Claudia for Nick's restaurant! Nick tells Vanessa she should stay in town. Sumner effortlessly agrees to pay for Mack's bail money. That night, Paige tries to break into Claudia's desk. She finds Sumner lying on Claudia's couch in the dark. He tells Paige to stay away from Tom. Later, Tom visits Paige and tries to kiss her. She slaps him.

11/336: "THE GETAWAY ("LA HUIDA")

GREG pide a CLAUDIA que devuelve su mitad del dinero o hará que desaparezca. NICK le da su parte, pero sin decirle cómo la consiguió. Luego besa a ANNE, pero ella no quiere arruinar las cosas con GREG. GARY contrata a KATE para trabajar en el complejo deportivo. Cuando sale de la cárcel, MACK investiga quién mató a MARY y TONI decide ayudarle. GARY descubre que JOE secuestró a VAL y decide volver a FLORIDA, por lo que pide a KATE que cuide de los niños. MACK también quiere ir, pero KAREN le recuerda que así violaría la libertad bajo fianza. MACK se marcha igualmente en mitad de la noche y le deja una nota a KAREN...

Greg tells Claudia to return her half of the money or he'll make her disappear. Nick gives her the money, but won't tell her how he got it. Nick kisses Anne, but she doesn't want to mess things up with Greg. Gary hires Kate to work on the sports complex. Out on bail, Mac investigates who killed Mary. Toni decides to help Mac. Gary gets a report that Joe kidnapped Val, so he decides to go back to Florida and asks Kate to watch the twins. Mac wants to go to, but Karen says he would be jumping bail. Mac sneaks out in the middle of the night and leaves Karen a note.

12/337: "CALL WAITING" ("LLAMADA EN ESPERA")

GREG no sabe por qué se ha detenido la construcción del estadio de deportes, e intenta derribar la casa de los CARTER, sin darse cuenta de que aún viven allí. El incidente aparece en las noticias y GREG decide abandonar el comité y volver al G.S. TOM quiere interrogar a GREG, y KAREN y PEGGY le cubren. La primera pide ayuda a PAIGE, que pasa el día con TOM. La policía descubre que alguien está gastando dinero marcado: JOE, y PAIGE ayuda a TOM a detenerle. Cuando lo interrogan, este niega haber matado a MARY y alega que son sus ahorros. TOM supone que MACK se ha saltado la libertad y quiere emitir una orden de arresto contra él, así que PAIGE le pide que espere 24 horas..

Greg doesn't know why construction of the sports arena is stalled, and tries to bulldoze the Carter's house, not realizing they still live there. The incident is on the news. Greg decides to quit the committee and go back to Sumner Group. Tom wants to interview Greg, so Karen and Peggy cover for him. Karen asks Paige to help, so Paige spends the day with Tom. The police discover that someone is using marked money. It is Joe Robeson, and Paige helps Tom arrest him. Joe is questioned, but denies killing Mary and says the money is his savings. Tom figures out that Mac jumped bail, and wants to put out a warrant for his arrest, so Paige asks him to wait for 24 hours.

13/338: "FAREWELL, MY LOVELY" ("ADIÓS, AMOR MÍO")

De vuelta en casa, GARY explica a KAREN que MARY era en realidad tía de LAURA, y que esta murió al dar a luz. La policía retira los cargos contra MACK y suelta a JOE. NICK le dice a este que no debían haber matado a MARY y, poco después, JOE aparece muerto. NICK confía a VANESSA que no quiere que TREADWELL venga a la ciudad, y pide a CLAUDIA que abra una cuenta a nombre de un tal EDWARD MESSINGER, y le entrega un maletín con dinero. PAIGE pide a MACK sus acciones del G.S., pero él no está interesado. KATE vuelve a besar a GARY, pero él le dice que no está preparado y no debería presionarle. MACK contrata a TONI para su bufete, ya que FRANK se ha mudado a CHICAGO. KAREN está molesta porque su marido no le habló de lo de FLORIDA ni de TONI, y él alega que hablar con ella es como hablar con la Inquisición. Por ello decide dejarle y va a ver a DIANA a N.Y.

Back from Florida, Gary tells Karen that Mary was really Laura's aunt, and Laura's mother died in childbirth. The police drop the charges against Mac, and they let Joe go. Joe meets with Nick, who tells him he wasn't supposed to have murdered Mary. Then Joe is found dead. Nick tells Vanessa he doesn't want Treadwell coming to town. Nick has Claudia open a bank account for "Edward Messinger" and gives her a briefcase of money. Paige asks Mac for his shares of Sumner group, but he says he doesn't care. Kate comes on to Gary again. He says he's not ready and she's pushing him. Mac hires Toni to work with him and says Frank moved to Chicago. Karen is upset that Mac didn't tell her about Florida or hiring Toni. He says talking to her is an inquisition. She decides to leave him and stay with Diana in New York.

14/339: "THE WAY THINGS WERE" ("TAL COMO ERAN LAS COSAS")

GREG ignora ANNE, y esta se refugia en NICK aunque no duerme con él. Finalmente le confiesa a ANNE que no quiere estar con ella. GARY confiesa a KATE que tiene sentimientos encontrados, pero desea conservarla como amiga. MACK decide devolverle a GREG las acciones de MACK pero más tarde cambia de opinión y se las da a PAIGE. GREG chantajea a CLAUDIA para que le venda su parte. TREADWELL llama a NICK y este informa a CLAUDIA que no puede vender porque al haberle dado ya medio millón, tiene obligaciones, y además no sabe con quién trata. Mientras corre en bicicleta con los gemelos, KATE se sale de la carretera por culpa de una camioneta y queda inconsciente...

Greg ignores Anne, so she comes on to Nick but won't sleep with him. Greg tells Anne he doesn't want her. Gary tells Kate he has conflicting feelings, but wants to still be friends with her. Mac says he'll give Greg Meg's shares back but he gives them to Paige instead. Greg blackmails Claudia to sell him her shares. Treadwell calls Nick and Nick tells Claudia she can't sell, that because he gave her the half million dollars, she has obligations, and she doesn't know who she's dealing with. Out bicycling with the twins, a van knocks Kate off the road, and she's unconscious.

15/340: "HINTS AND EVASIONS" ("INSINUACIONES Y EVASIONES")

KATE se encuentra bien, y GARY le dice que debe encontrar a un hombre más joven y que él no quiere tener más hijos, por lo cual ella decide marcharse. NICK se propone averiguar las debilidades y puntos fuertes de PAIGE ahora que posee las acciones de MACK. TOM investiga el incidente de KATE y PAIGE le confía que seguramente fue alguien conectado a quien entregó el dinero a CLAUDIA. TOM conoce a VANESSA y flirtea con ella. Después VANESSA le pide protección y le informa de que NICK está relacionado con TREADWELL, y que ella era amante de este, un hombre despiadado con un enorme imperio ilegal en EUROPA, y que ahora va tras el G.S. TOM busca la ayuda de NICK porque él puede controlar a PAIGE...

Kate is okay. Gary tells her she needs to find someone younger, that he doesn't want any more children. Upset, Kate decides to go away. Claudia agrees to keep her share. Nick says he needs to know Paige's strength and weaknesses, now that she has the McKenzie's shares. Tom investigates Kate's hit and run, and Paige tells him that there is probably a link to whoever gave Claudia money. Tom meets Vanessa, and they flirt outrageously. Vanessa asks Tom for protection, and tells him Nick is involved with Treadwell. She says she was Treadwell's mistress, that he is ruthless and has a huge illegal empire in Europe, and now wants to take over the Sumner Group. Tom tells Nick he wants in on the action, because he can control Paige.

DIANA aconseja a KAREN que le dé otra oportunidad a MACK. GREG compra un caballo de carreras por 10 millones. ANNE y NICK deciden secuestrarlo y pedir un rescate de cuatro, para poder fugarse juntos. Pero GREG lo ha asegurado por 15 y no quiere pagar el rescate. Luego averigua que NICK y ANNE lo tienen. VANESSA y TOM se acuestan por fin, y ella le dice que huyó de TREADWELL porque ella le aburría y pensó que la mataría. Luego vino a L.A. y NICK la amenazó con informar a TREADWELL de su paradero. Uno de los secuaces del mafioso deja una maleta en el restaurante de NICK y VANESSA encuentra en ella un rifle de alta potencia...

Diana tells Karen she should give Mac another chance. Greg buys a racehorse for $10 million. Anne and Nick decide to kidnap it and ask for a $4 million ransom, so they can run away together. Unfortunately, Greg insured it for $15 million, so he won't pay the ransom. Then he discovers Nick and Anne have it. Vanessa and Tom sleep together. She tells him that she ran away from Treadwell because he was bored with her, and she thought he would kill her. She came to LA, and Nick threatened to tell Treadwell where she was. One of Treadwell's men drops off a case for Nick at the restaurant. Vanessa pries it open, and it's a high-powered rifle.

17/342: "DAY OF THE ASSASSIN" ("EL DÍA DEL ASESINO")

GREG acoge a CLAUDIA y KATE en su rancho y contrata seguridad adicional. Ella le vende las acciones para no estar en peligro. GARY comunica a KATE que quiere que esté en su vida y ambos se besan. Los secuaces de TREADWELL le dan una paliza a NICK, y ANNE le cura las heridas mientras él le habla del individuo. Un mensajero dispara contra GREG, pero él lleva un chaleco antibalas. TOM lleva a PAIGE a su apartamento para que esté a salvo y se besan. VANESSA aparece pero enseguida huye, y TOM va tras ella. MACK viaja a N.Y. y asegura a KAREN que la ama y vale la pena luchar por su matrimonio. MORT informa a GREG de que la base de datos de BURTON TECH. está siendo destruida por un virus, y PAIGE y GREG deciden ir hasta allí para ver lo que pasa. Seguridad inspecciona el avión, pero uno de los guardias coloca en él una bomba. VANESSA duerme una vez más con TREADWELL y oye por casualidad que la bomba estallará en 20 minutos. Entonces llama a TOM, pero el avión ya ha despegado...

Greg has Claudia and Kate stay at the ranch where he's hired extra security. Claudia sells her shares to Greg so she won't be in danger. Gary tells Kate he wants her in his life and they kiss. Treadwell and his men beat Nick up. Anne tends his wounds and he tells her about Treadwell. A mailboy shoots Greg, but he's wearing a bulletproof vest. Tom brings Paige to his apartment so she'll be safe, and they kiss. Vanessa comes by but runs away, and Tom runs after her. Mac goes to New York and tells Karen he loves her, and that their marriage is worth fighting for. Mort tells Greg that the Burton Tech. data base is being ruined by a virus. Paige and Greg decide to fly there to see what's going on. Security guards check the plane, but one of them plants a bomb. Vanessa sleeps with Treadwell and overhears a call that the bomb will go off in 20 minutes. Vanessa calls Tom who calls the airport, but the plane has taken off.

18/343: "JUST LIKE OLD TIMES" ("COMO EN LOS VIEJOS TIEMPOS") (I)

TOM da instrucciones a GREG y PAIGE para que desconectar la bomba y lo hacen cuando sólo faltan dos segundos para su explosión. TREADWELL se enfurece por eso y porque VAL escapó. Disfrazada, esta llega en autocar y se tiñe el pelo a castaño. Envía flores a GARY con el mensaje "Nunca he visto el océano" y una cita para verse. Deja a los gemelos con KATE y acude a la reunión en el motel, donde ambos se emocionan al verse de nuevo. Luego la lleva a casa de KAREN, que se lleva una gran sorpresa y le habla de TREADWELL. TOM le pide a PAIGE que se case con él. NICK ruega a CLAUDIA que le preste dinero alegando que TREADWELL le persigue porque no tamó a GREG y PAIGE. CLAUDIA accede a informar a GREG del paradero de NICK si le da 5 millones y un empleo en MONACO. GREG le pregunta a NICK dónde está su jefe, y TOM llega para llevarle detenido. NICK pide protección y dice que no sabe dónde está, pero sabe de alguien que sí lo sabe. Después NICK va a ver a alguien para comunicarle que TREADWELL está fuera de control y deben detenerlo. Se trata de ABBY, que le asegura que se encargará de él...

Tom talks Greg and Paige through disarming the bomb, and they do with 2 seconds to spare. Treadwell is angry that the bomb didn't work and that Val escaped. Disguised, Val gets off a bus and dyes her hair brown. She has flowers delivered to Gary with a card that says to meet her, and "I've never seen the ocean." He has Kate watch the twins and meets her. They have a tearful reunion at her motel. He brings her to Karen's, who's shocked, and she tells them about Treadwell. Tom asks Paige to marry him. Nick begs Claudia for money and says Treadwell is after him because he didn't kill Greg and Paige. Claudia tells Greg she'll tell him where Nick is for $ 5 million and a job in Monaco. Greg asks Nick where Treadwell is, and Tom comes in and brings Nick to the station. Nick asks for protection, and says he doesn't know where Treadwell is, but knows someone who does. Nick goes to someone and says that Treadwell is out of control and needs to be stopped. It's ABBY, and she tells him she'll take care of it.

19/344: "JUST LIKE OLD TIMES" (II)

TREADWELL se dispone a matar a NICK cuando VANESSA dispara contra su amante y lo mata. Confiesa a TOM que fue en defensa propia y no se presentan cargos. Con TREADWELL desaparecido, VAL está libre y se reencuentra con los gemelos entre lágrimas. GARY le habla de KATE, aunque le asegura que no ha querido a nadie como a ella. KATE se siente incómoda y decide marcharse. KAREN y MACK tienen una discusión y de repente se dan cuenta de que las cosas han vuelto a la "normalidad", y empiezan a reír, llorar y besarse. ABBY comunica a GREG que es la socia de TREADWELL y va a absorber el G.S. porque tiene información con la que le chantajea. Además se topa en la entrada con PAIGE:

"Por cierto, ¿aún te acuestas con GREG?" - le pregunta. "Todas las mañanas, todas las noches, y dos veces los sábados. Cada vez es mejor..." "Yo no pensaba lo mismo..." - cuando se va, PAIGE murmura: "¡Zorra!"

GREG ha pagado a NICK y ANNE por información sobre los tratos ilegales de TREADWELL, y ABBY no puede chantajearlo. Con el dinero de GREG, la pareja decide instalarse en MONACO y, en el aeropuerto, se encuentran con CLAUDIA, que también se dirige allí. GREG descubre que PAIGE se ha quedado con su despacho y ahora posee dos tercios de la empresa, aunque le deja ocupar la antigua oficina de ella. Dice que, si trabajan juntos, tendrán que pasar noches, fines de semana, hasta vacaciones juntos. Ella le echa hacia atrás y le da un beso. Los MACKENZIE y los EWING celebran una barbacoa en honor de VAL. ABBY llega en su coche y dice que ha alquilado la antigua casa de CLAUDIA. MACK sacude la cabeza y los demás se quedan atónitos...

"Es como en los viejos tiempos..." - dice ABBY encantada...

Treadwell is going to shoot Nick, so Vanessa shoots Treadwell. She tells Tom it was in self-defense, so no charges are filed. With Treadwell out of the way, Val is free, and she and the twins have a tearful reunion. Gary tells her about Kate, but says he never loved anyone the way he loved her. Kate's upset and decides to go away. Karen and Mac yell at each other, and suddenly realize that things are back to "normal" and start to laugh and cry and kiss. Abby tells Greg that she is Treadwell's partner, and is taking over Sumner Group, because she has information to blackmail him. She also has an encounter with Paige:

"By the way, are you still sleeping with Greg?" - she asks. "Every morning, every night. Twice on Saturdays. He's just getting better and better." "I didn't think so" - when she leaves Paige mutters to herself: "Bitch!"

Greg has bought information from Nick and Anne that document her and Treadwell's illegal dealings, so she can't blackmail him. With the money they made from Greg, Nick and Anne decide to live in Monaco together. At the airport they run into Claudia, who is also moving to Monaco. Greg finds that Paige has taken over his office, and she reminds him she owns 2/3 of the company, but he can have her old office. He says that if they work together, they'll need to spend nights, weekends, even vacations together. She dips him backwards and kisses him. The MacKenzies and Ewings are having a barbecue to celebrate Val's return. Abby drives up and says she heard Claudia's house was on the market, and walks into her old house. Mac shakes his head, and the rest stand there flabbergasted!

"It's just like old times..." - says Abby with delight.
