104 - foreign relations

January 23, 1985: Krystle Carrington decided, on "Dynasty", that raising her baby daughter was not glamorous enough and started a business of Arabian horses no less! That gave the character the opportunity to interact with that season´s very special guest star Rock Hudson. Another well-known actress was introduced in this episode: Ali MacGraw, who starred in such movies as "Love Story" and "The Getaway" in the 70´s, but was almost forgotten by then. Playing a role which rumors say had been offered to Raquel Welch before, MacGraw felt completely out-of-place in a glitzy show like "Dynasty", and didn´t know how to deliver her "dumb" dialogues...Initially conceived as a lover for Blake, her part of Lady Ashley Mitchell was reworked after Forsythe´s complaints (Blake could EVER be unfaithful to his Krystle!) and became one of Jeff´s many lovers after Fallon´s disappearance. Also in this episode, Steven realized that his marriage was a big mistake after feeling attracted to his employé Luke Fuller (Bill Campbell, recently seen on "The Killing") and Jeff came home with a new bride, this time one looking like a redheaded Cabbage-doll and responded to the name of Nicole Simpson (Susan Scannell).

Julio de 1986: Krystle Carrington decidía en "Dinastía" que criar a su hija recién nacida no era lo bastante glamuroso y se lanzaba al negocio de los caballos árabes, nada menos...Eso ofrecía al personaje la oportunidad de interactuar con la muy especial estrella invitada de esa temporada, Rock Hudson. Otra conocida actriz fue presentada en ese episodio: Ali MacGraw, protagonista de películas como "Love Story" y "La huida" en los 70, pero casi olvidada entonces. En un papel que al parecer se le había ofrecido antes a Raquel Welch, MacGraw se sentía completamente fuera de lugar en una serie de lujo como "Dinastía", y no sabía cómo decir sus "tontos" diálogos...Inicialmente creado como una amante para Blake, el rol de Lady Ashley Mitchell fue reciclado tras las quejas de Forsythe (Blake JAMÁS podía serle infiel a su Krystle...) y se convirtió en otra de las muchas amantes de Jeff tras la desaparición de Fallon. También en ese episodio, Steven se daba cuenta de que su matrimonio había sido un gran error al sentirse atraído por su empleado Luke Fuller (Bill Campbell, visto recientemente en "The Killing") y Jeff volvía a casa con una nueva mujer, esta vez una que parecía una muñeca-repollo pelirroja y respondía al nombre de Nicole Simpson (Susan Scannell).
