SEASON 6 (AIRED ON 1984-85 SEASON):

(La cabecera de esta temporada incluye a un nuevo actor, el hoy reconocido ALEC BALDWIN, en el papel de JOSHUA RUSH, a partir del primer episodio, aunque no debuta hasta el siguiente. Permanecen en ella todos los de la temporada anterior, a excepción de CLAUDIA LONOW, que deja la serie en el tercer episodio. En cuanto a los secundarios, desaparece BOBBY JACOBY, más tarde reemplazado por BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN, y siguen STEVE SHAW, PAT PETERSEN, DANNY PONCE y TONYA CROWE, retomando sus personajes anteriores.

This Season´s opening includes a new actor, currently recognized ALEC BALDWIN as JOSHUA RUSH, from episode one, though he debuts on the next. Remaining in it are all the cast members from the previous season, except CLAUDIA LONOW, who leaves the show in episode 3. About guest stars, BOBBY JACOBY disappears and will be later replaced by BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN, and still appearing are STEVE SHAW, PAT PETERSEN, DANNY PONCE, and TONYA CROWE, reprising their respective roles.)

1/101: "BUYING TIME" ("GANANDO TIEMPO")

La policía sigue a la limusina de ST. CLAIRE pero acaba perdiéndola. Este retiene a ABBY a bordo de su yate y, cuando llama a GREG, responde LAURA. CATHY regresa a KNOTS LANDING, y LAURA vuelve a invitarla a que se quede con ellos. VAL confiesa a BEN que sigue queriendo a GARY. KAREN se somete a una intervención quirúrgica. Sin embargo, la bala que recibió en las costillas se hizo añicos y el médico le dice que no ha podido extraer uno de los fragmentos alojados en la espina dorsal. Le comunica que, más tarde o más temprano, ese fragmento se moverá y ella quedará paralítica, y poco después morirá.

Police follow St. Claire's Limousine but lose them. St. Claire has Abby on a yacht. St. Claire calls for Greg and Laura answers. She tells both Greg and Mac that he called. Cathy comes back to Knots Landing, and Laura invites her to stay with them again. Val admits to Ben she still loves Gary. Karen has surgery. The bullet entered her ribs and shattered. The doctor says there was one fragment lodged in her spine that he couldn't remove. He tells her that at some point, the fragment will shift and she will become paralyzed, and she will die soon after this.

2/102: "CALCULATED RISKS" ("RIESGOS CALCULADOS")

El médico informa a KAREN de que, a menos que se someta a una arriesgada operación con un 50% de probabilidad de éxito, morirá antes de un año. MACK quiere volver con ella, pero la mujer miente y le dice que ya no le quiere, por lo que él se instala en casa de BEN. DIANA se marcha a vivir a NUEVA YORK. JOSHUA RUSH aparece en casa de VAL afirmando ser hijo de la hermana de LILIMAE, que le abandonó. Ahora desea saber más cosas de ella por LILIMAE, que confiesa que era una golfa malvada y mezquina, y debería alegrarse de que hubiera muerto. VAL invita a JOSHUA a quedarse con ellos. ST. CLAIRE amenaza a GREG y este se entrevista con él en su yate. ABBY ve una pistola en un cajón y se la da a GREG, que dispara al mafioso.

The doctor tells Karen that she'll die within the year unless she has a risky operation with only a 50%survival rate. Mac wants to get back together with her, but Karen lies and says she doesn't love him. Mac moves in with Ben. Diana moves to New York. Joshua Rush shows up at Val's. His mother was Lilimae's sister. She abandoned him and he wants to learn about her from Lilimae. She says her sister was a vicious, wicked tramp and he should be glad that she's dead. Val invites Joshua to stay with them. St. Claire threatens Greg and he comes to the yacht. Abby sees a gun in a drawer and gives it to Greg. Greg shoots Mark St. Claire.

3/103: "HANGING FIRE" ("ARRIMARSE AL FUEGO")

GREG confiesa a a la policía que disparó contra ST. CLAIRE porque estaba apuntando con su arma a ABBY, quien confirma la historia. GREG pide a ABBY que realice una declaración pública en su defensa. GARY adquiere la cadena de TV por cable en la que trabaja BEN, y deja que ABBY vuelva al rancho, aunque asegura que ahora será él quien controle los negocios, de una forma honrada y justa. Ha ordenado que se vuelva a diseñar LOTUS POINT para que respete el medio ambiente y que KAREN sea una socia igualitaria. GARY le dice a CATHY que ama a ABBY, pero espera que ellos puedan seguir siendo amigos. VAL adivina que LILIMAE es la madre de JOSHUA, y esta le revela que nunca se casó con el padre de este, JONATHAN. Vivió con él durante un año después que naciera JOSHUA e intentó ser una buena madre, y ahora no sabe cómo decirle que es su madre.

Greg tells the police that he shot St. Claire because he had a gun and was about to shoot Abby. Abby concurs. Greg asks Abby to make a public statement on his behalf. Gary buys the cable station Ben works at. Gary takes Abby back but says he's taking control of the business, and it will now be run honestly and fairly. He says he had Lotus Point redesigned to fit into the environment and that Karen will be an equal partner. Gary tells Cathy he loves Abby but hopes they can remain friends. Val figures out that Lilimae is Joshua's mother. Lilimae tells her that she was never married to Joshua's father Jonathan. She stayed with him for a year after Joshua was born and tried to be a good mother. She doesn't know how to tell Joshua that she is his mother.

4/104: "A LITTLE HELP" ("UN POCO DE AYUDA")

ABBY convoca una rueda de prensa para exculpar a GREG. Después este le dice que nunca volverá a trabajar con ella. Enfurecida, le pide a un reportero de la cadena que investigue el historial médico del oponente de GREG, BOB CAULFIELD, y averigua que pasó una temporada en un psiquiátrico. ABBY pasa por encima de BEN y emite el reportaje, lo cual sienta muy mal a este. GREG le pide a ABBY que retuerza el cuello de quien lo haya filtrado, pero ella le dice que ha sido él mismo. VAL convence a LILIMAE de que confiese a JOSHUA que es su madre. Ella lo hace y JOSHUA se marcha, alterado. VAL explica a su hermanastro que LILIMAE también la abandonó a ella pero, si está dispuesto a darle una oportunidad, descubrirá que es una buena persona, y él decide quedarse.

Abby gives a press conference on behalf of Greg. Afterward, Greg tells her he will never work with her again. Mad, Abby asks a reporter at the cable station to dig up the medical history of Greg's opponent, Bob Caufield. He finds out that Caufield had been in a psychiatric hospital. Abby overrides Ben and runs the story, and Ben is livid. Greg tells Abby that she will wring the neck of whoever leaked it. Abby smiles and tells him that HE leaked it. Val convinces Lilimae to tell Joshua that she is his mother. Lilimae does, and Joshua, upset and angry, walks out. Val talks to him about how Lilimae abandoned her too but if he's willing to give her a chance, he'll find out she's a beautiful woman. Joshua decides to stay.

5/105: "IPSO FACTO"

GARY explica a KAREN que MACK no se sentirá agradecido por evitar verla morir, sino furioso y resentido. ABBY contrata a SCOTT EASTON. GREG le dice a ABBY que sabe que un empleado suyo robó los archivos médicos de CAUFIELD. Ella le amenaza con retractarse de su declaración si lo hace saber. LOTUS POINT es inaugurado de forma espectacular, y MACK y KAREN vuelven a hablarse. JOSHUA le dice a CATHY que ha conocido a ABBY y le parece "agradable". GREG revela a la prensa que no importa el historial médico de CAUFIELD. En la emisora, ABBY encuentra un disquete en el despacho de BEN con la etiqueta "Notas sobre VAL". Lo introduce en el ordenador y ve que es una carta de amor para esta, donde confiesa que la quiere, pero no puede superar que va a tener un hijo de GARY. ABBY se queda atónita.

Gary tells Karen that Mac won't be grateful that she spared him his death, he'll be angry and resentful. Abby hires Scott Easton. Greg tells Abby he knows that one of her employées broke into Caufield's medical files. Abby threatens to retract her statement if he tells. Lotus Point has its grand opening. Mac and Karen begin to talk at the opening. Joshua tells Cathy that he met Abby and she is really 'nice'. Greg invites Caufield to the opening and tells the press that his medical history doesn't matter. At the station, Abby sees a floppy disc on Ben's desk that is labeled "Val Notes". She puts it on the computer. It's a love letter to Val saying that he loves her but just can't get over the fact that she is having Gary's baby. Abby is shocked.

6/106: "TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES" ("LA VERDAD Y SUS CONSECUENCIAS")

Karen accede por fin a operrse e ingresa en el hospital. Abby quiere participar en Empire Valley, pero Galveston la manda a casa a criar a sus hijos. Greg encuentra a Galveston al despertar y este le dice que se muere, y es hora de perdonar y olvidar. Galveston le asegura que su dinero le daría más poder que ser senador, y Greg ansía el poder. Luego Greg informa a Laura de que su divorcio es definitivo. El público abarrota la cadena para ver a Joshua y Abby le ofrece una sección fija en el programa de la Reverenad Kathryn. El detective habla a Abby de Val, pero ella cuenta a todos que no han sabido nada desde lo de Nevada. En Shula, Val va a bailar con Parker, pero se marcha cuando le dicen que tiene novia. Parker alega que se separaron y la besa...

Karen finally agrees to have the operation and checks into the hospital. Abby wants in on Empire Valley, but Galveston tells her to go home and raise babies. Greg wakes up and Galveston is in his room and says that he is dying and it's time for him to forgive and forget. Galveston says his money has more power than being a senator, and Greg craves power. Greg tells Laura his divorce is final. People mob the station wanting to see Joshua, so Abby gives him a regular segment on Reverend Kathryn's show. The detective reports to Abby on Val, but Abby tells everyone he has no leads since Nevada. In Shula, Val goes to a "social" with Parker, but walks out when people tell her he has a girlfriend. Parker tells Val that they broke up, and he kisses her.

14/114: "#14 WITH A BULLET" ("LA BALA EN LA Nº 14")

La operación de KAREN es un gran éxito. PAUL ordena a GREG que obligue a MACK a dejar la investigación de TIDAL BASIN, pero en vez de eso, GREG pide a MACK que busque una relación entre ellos y las Industrias GALVESTON. El detective informa a ABBY que VAL se ha transformado en VERNA ELLERS, el personaje de su libro NASHVILLE JUNCTION, y que parece ser feliz. Accederá a entregarle un informe falso si se acuesta con él. Luego comunica a GARY que no tiene pistas y abandona el caso. PAUL amenaza al detective y este revela dónde está VAL. Otro hombre le lleva después los papeles de EASTON. ABBY espera al detective, pero es PAUL quien aparece para decirle que sabe dónde está VAL y lo que pasó con los bebés. A menos que le dé una buena explicación, se lo contará todo a GARY.

Karen's surgery goes well. Galveston tells Greg to tell Mac to stop investigating the Tidal Basin murders, but instead, Greg tells Mac to look for a connection between them and Galveston Industries. The detective tells Abby that Val has become Verna Ellers from her book "Nashville Junction", and that she seems happy. He says he'll do a fake report, in exchange for sex with Abby. He tells Gary he has no leads and is dropping the case. Galveston has his men bring him Abby's detective. Galveston threatens him, so the detective tells him where Val is. Then another man brings him all of Scott Easton's papers. Abby waits for the detective, but instead, Galveston shows up and tells her that he knows where Val is and about the babies and unless she comes up with a damn good explanation, he's going to tell Gary.

15/115: "INSIDE INFORMATION" ("INFORMACIÓN CONFIDENCIAL")

MACK muestra una grabación de los asesinatos de TIDAL BASIN a la compañera de piso de LILA MAXWELL, quien reconoce a EASTON y le dice que trabajaba para GALVESTON. Luego KAREN identifica a uno de los hombres como JOHN WOODSIDE, uno de los ayudantes de PAUL. GREG confiesa a LAURA que su padre, SUMNER, murió en combate en la guerra de COREA y era piloto. Después, PAUL apareció en su casa y él descubrió que su madre y él habían mantenido una aventura durante años. PAUL reveló que era su padre. ABBY viaja hasta SHULA para preguntarle a VAL si piensa volver a casa, pero ella no la reconoce y cree que ABBY está loca. PARKER lo oye por casualidad e investiga a VAL en la bliblioteca, averiguando que es en realidad VAL EWING. PARKER le propone matrimonio y ella acepta. GARY informa a ABBY que PAUL le ha llamado y necesita contarle algo sobre ella, por lo que ABBY decide confesar que ha encontrado a VAL. GARY coge el primer avión para TENNESSEE.

Mac shows a tape of the Tidal Basin murders to Lila Maxwell's roommate who recognizes Scott Easton and tells Mac he worked for Galveston Ind. Then Karen recognizes one of the men as John Woodside, one of Galveston's aides. Greg tells Laura that his father, Sumner, died as a pilot in the Korean war. Then Galveston showed up at his house, and Greg discovered that his mother and Galveston had been having an affair for years. Then Galveston told Greg that he was really his father. Abby flies to Shula and asks Val to level with her about if she is going to come home. Val doesn't recognize her and thinks that Abby is crazy. Parker overhears and researches on Val in the library, and knows that she is really Valene Ewing. Parker asks Val to marry him, and she says yes. Gary tells Abby that Galveston called and said he needed to tell him something about her so Abby tells him that she found Val. Gary catches the first flight to Tennessee.

16/116: "OUT OF THE PAST" ("SALIDO DEL PASADO")

ABBY decide alargar la parte de JOSHUA en el programa. Amenaza a CATHY diciéndole que, si sigue viéndole, contará a todos que tuvo una aventura con GARY y mató a alguien. MACK no consigue que un juez le conceda una orden contra Industrias GALVESTON, y GREG lo hace por él. KAREN proporciona sin querer a PAUL la información sobre la investigación. GARY va al bar de VAL y recuerda cómo la conoció en una cafetería cuando la ayudó al verla muy atareada. Intenta hablar con ella, pero no la reconoce y cree que está loco. PARKER y sus amigos dan una paliza a GARY y le ordenan que se marche. VAL se siente aturdida porque dos personas la han confundido con la misma mujer. GARY regresa al bar y la ayuda del mismo modo que cuando se conocieron. Entonces ella le reconoce por un momento y le llama por su nombre, pero luego huye confusa seguida por GARY. Ella insiste en que es VERNA y no le había visto nunca. Más tarde, le dice a PARKER que desea casarse cuanto antes.

Abby decides to lengthen Joshua's segment. She threatens Cathy not to date Josh anymore, or she will tell him about her affair with Gary and that she murdered someone. Mac can't get a Judge to grant him a warrant for Galveston Industries, so Greg gets Mac the warrant he needs. Karen unwittingly gives Galveston information on the investigation. Gary goes to Val's diner and recalls how he met her in a diner by helping her out when it was really busy. He tries to talk to Val, who doesn't recognize him and thinks he's crazy. Parker and his friends beat Gary up and tell him to get out of town. Val's confused as to why 2 people have thought she was Val Ewing. Gary goes back to the diner and helps Val like he did when they first met. For just an instant she recognizes him and says "Gary", but then confused, runs out, and Gary follows. She insists she's Verna and has never seen him before. She tells Parker she wants to get married right away.

El ego de JOSHUA aumenta cada día. Le dice a CATHY que debe enmendarse y cantar en la iglesia en vez del bar, y rompe con ella. ABBY está preocupada porque MACK pueda relacionarla con los bebés. PAUL obliga a JAMISON y WHITESIDE a firmar una confesión por haber matado a LILA. Un hombre sube al coche de MACK y le avisa de que debería apuntar más alto en su investigación. GARY sigue intentando convencer a VAL de que no es VERNA. Ella prepara su boda y se imagina vestida de novia y bailando con GARY. Este le esenaña la foto de la contraportada de su libro. PARKER está preocupado ante la tardanza de VAL el día de la boda. Ella está en su habitación, mirando su foto. Por fin acude a la iglesia. GARY irrumpe en ella e interrumpe la ceremonia. PARKER insiste en proseguir, pero GARY anuncia que va a llevar a VAL a CALIFORNIA.

Joshua's ego is getting really big. Joshua tells Cathy she needs to mend her ways and sing in church, not in a bar, and he breaks up with her. Abby's worried that Mac will find out her connection with the babies. Galveston has Jamison and Whiteside sign a confession for Lila Maxwell's murder. A man gets into Mac's car and tells him that he's not aiming high enough in his investigation of Galveston. Gary continues to try and convince Val that she is not Verna. Val makes plans for her wedding and imagines dancing with Gary in her wedding dress. Gary shows Val her picture on the back of "Nashville Junction". Parker's worried when Val is late for the wedding. She's in her room, staring at her picture on the boo cover. Val finally goes to the church. Gary barges in and interrupts the ceremony. Parker wants the Minister to continue, but Gary insists he is going to bring Val home to California.

18/118: "FLY AWAY HOME" ("VUELTA AL HOGAR")

El coche de BEN pincha un neumático de camino a EMPIRE VALLEY. Un camión con receptor de radio se detiene para ayudarlo. Más tarde informa a MACK que piensa que E.V. es una tapadera de algo más importante. Los hombres de MACK van a buscar a JAMISON y WOODSIDE, pero se han marchado. GARY y PARKER se enzarzan en una pelea, y VAL se da cuenta de que PARKER le ha mentido, y está segura de que es VALENE. Empieza a recordar a GARY y accede a volver con él, aunque piensa que siguen casados. ABBY pregunta a PAUL si MACK se enterará de la verdad sobre los bebés, y él responde que él informará personalmente a GARY. Después ABBY se introduce en su casa y en su despacho. Entonces la sorprende PAUL y él sufre un ataque al corazón. Le pide que le acerque sus pastillas, pero ABBY no quiere ayudarle...

Ben has a flat tire on the road to Empire Valley. A truck with radio receivers stops to help him. Ben takes one of the receivers and tells Mac that he thinks that Empire Valley is only a cover for something bigger. Mac's men go to pick up Jamison and Woodside, but they're gone. Gary and Parker fight. Val realizes that Parker lied to her, and knows that she is Valene Ewing. She starts to remember Gary, and agrees to go home with him, but thinks that they are still married. At home, she doesn't recognize anyone. Abby tells Gary that Ben needs to take care of Val, and that he has to make a break from her, or they're through. Gary takes Val to the beach and tells her they're not married. She's upset. Abby asks Galveston if Mac will find out about the babies, and Galveston says no, that he will personally tell Gary about his heirs. Later, Abby sneaks into his house and goes through his desk. Galveston comes in and then suddenly has an attack. He asks for his pills, but Abby doesn't help him.

19/119: "ROUGH EDGES" ("LÍMITES POCO CLAROS")

JOSHUA pide perdón a CATHY y le confiesa que se equivoca a menudo porque nunca había tenido novia, pero se siente infeliz separado de ella. Los hombres de PAUL contactan con GREG para tranferirle su poder, pero él se niega. Mientras, GARY se siente frustrado cuando no consigue ver a PAUL y le dicen que está en viaje de negocios. ABBY encuentra la agenda de EASTON, pero las páginas sobre los bebés de VAL han sido arrancadas. VAL comienza a seguir una terapia con el Dr. MICHAELS, pero falta a muchas sesiones y KAREN intenta que cambie de actitud. Cuando oye a LILIMAE y BEN discutiendo si deberían internarla, grita a su madre que la abandonó, y la insulta. Finalmente, se abre al doctor, y se siente culpable por haber atacado a LILIMAE. BEN la lleva a casa y, por el camino, recuerda el hogar de este y sus orquídeas. BEN se lleva una gran alegría.

Joshua apologizes to Cathy and says he's making a lot of mistakes as he's never had a girlfriend before but he's unhappy without her. Galveston's men contact Greg and want to transfer power to him, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Gary's frustrated he can't get in to see Galveston and is told he's away on business. Abby finds Scott Easton's notebook, but the pertinent pages about Val's babies are ripped out. Val starts therapy with Dr. Michaels, but misses a lot of sessions and Karen tries to convince her to go. She hears Lilimae and Ben talking about having her committed, so she yells at Lilimae for abandoning her and calls her a tramp. She hears Lilimae crying but is unconcerned. Finally, Val opens up to her Dr., and then feels bad about attacking Lilimae. Ben gives Val a ride home, and she suddenly remembers his beach house and orchids. He is overjoyed.

JOSHUA pide a KATHRYN que le permita abrir el programa, pero luego ocupa toda su duración, lo cual los enfrenta a ambos. ABBY sugiere a JOSHUA que piense en nuevos sermones y, si ella cree que puede llevar solo el programa, despedirá a KATHRYN. JOSHUA responde que no la necesita para eso y podría irse a otro sitio. También anuncia que CATHY cantará en el programa, aunque ella no quiera. KAREN interroga a la gente implicada en el parto de VAL y confiesa a GARY que piensa que los bebés están vivos. ABBY lo oye por casualidad. PAUL muere y hace su entrada la madre de GREG, RUTH. Le informa que se ha casado con PAUL y quiere que tome el control de la empresa. Joshua asks to open Reverend Kathryn's show, but then takes up the whole 30 minutes. Rev. Kathryn is starting to become disgusted with Josh's ego. Abby tells Joshua to come up with sermons, and if she thinks he can sustain the show, she'll fire Rev. Kathryn. Joshua replies he doesn't need Abby to check his sermons or he'll go elsewhere. Joshua also announces that Cathy will sing on his show, even though she doesn't want to. Karen questions people about the evening Val gave birth, and tells Gary she thinks the twins are alive. Abby overhears. Galveston dies. The mystery woman comes in, and she is Greg's mother Ruth. She tells Greg that she married Galveston and she wants him to take over the company. An old friend comes to see Greg and tells him that Empire Valley is the cover for an international communications center, and that they will monitor and influence all government communications in every country in the world. Greg's still resistant.

KAREN se entrevista con la antigua ginecóloga de VAL y descubre que ella y su compañero fueron convocados para asistir a una conferencia cuando nacieron los bebés, y que el Dr. ACKERMAN juega en muchos torneos de bridge. CATHY actúa en el programa de JOSHUA y este anuncia que van a casarse. Ella está preocupada porque JOSHUA supone cosas y no le pide su opinión primero. MACK encuentra una dirección entre los papeles de PAUL y acude al lugar con BEN. La Sra. FISHER les invita a entrar pero dice que no sabe quién es ni por qué tendría su dirección. Entonces los deja para atender a sus bebés gemelos, que están llorando. En la TV aparece GREG anunciando que PAUL era su padre, que ha fallecido, y él renuncia a su escaño en el Senado para hacerse cargo de su empresa. LAURA se enfurece porque GREG no le había hablado de esto. ABBY asegura a GREG que quiere una parte de EMPIRE VALLEY, del "auténtico" E.V.

Karen meets with Val's original obstetrician, who tells her that she and her partner were called away to a conference when the babies were born, and that Dr. Ackerman plays in a lot of bridge tournaments. Cathy sings on Joshua's show, and he announces on air that they are getting married. Cathy's upset with him for assuming things and not asking her first. Mac finds an address in some of Galveston's papers. He and Ben go there. Mrs. Fisher invites them in, but says she has no idea who he is or why he'd have their address. Then she has to go check on her twins who are crying. While there, they see a press conference that Greg has called on TV. Greg announces that Galveston was his father, had died, and he's resigning from the Senate and taking over his company. Laura is furious because Greg didn't tell her any of this. Abby tells Greg that she wants a piece of Empire Valley, the "real" Empire Valley.

JOSHUA pide perdón a CATHY y luego que se case con él. Ella acepta y ABBY decide celebrar una fiesta en su honor. KAREN averigua quién era la enfermera de guardia la noche que VAL dio a luz, y la localiza, aunque WILSON no quiere hablar con ella. Se da cuenta de que la enfermera está asustada y lleva con ella a LILIMAE para intentar convencerla. GARY decide seguir adelante con E.V. pero pide a MACK y BEN que investiguen para él, ya que no confía en GREG. En la fiesta de compromiso, GREG previene a COBLENTZ en contra de ABBY. JOSH anuncia a todos que, en cuanto se casen, CATHY no volverá a cantar. Ella se enfada y él le dice que no tiene que hacer una escena para llamar su atención. VAL consuela a CATHY y le aconseja que se enfrente a JOSH. ABBY conoce a COBLENTZ y finge saber lo que ocurre, y él, creyéndola, le cuenta todo. GREG explica a COBLENTZ que ABBY le ha engañado, y este le ordena que corrija la situación.

Joshua apologizes to Cathy and proposes. She accepts and Abby decides to throw them a party. Karen finds out who the nurse on duty was the night Val gave birth. Karen finds Nurse Wilson, and questions her, but she doesn't say anything. Karen tells Lilimae that Wilson is scared, and brings Lilimae to talk with her too. Gary decides to go ahead with Empire Valley, but asks Mac and Ben for their reports as he doesn't trust Greg. At the engagement party, Greg warns Coblentz about Abby. Josh announces to everyone that as soon as they're married, Cathy is going to stop singing. Cathy's angry, and he tells her she doesn't need to make scenes to get his attention. Val comforts Cathy and tells her to stand up to Joshua. Abby meets with Coblentz and pretends to know what's really going on, and Coblentz, thinking she already knows, tells her all. Greg tells Coblentz that Abby faked him out, and Coblentz tells Greg to undo the damage.

JOSHUA acosa a CATHY respecto a los planes de boda y ella no se presenta al ensayo. BEN pide a KAREN que no alimente la fantasía de VAL de que los gemelos puedan estar vivos, y MACK se pone del lado de ella afirmando que es una posibilidad. WILSON llama a ACKERMAN para que aleje a KAREN. GREG y GARY discuten por el aspecto ecológico de E.V. El primero cambia el informe de crédito de GARY y muchos de los inversores de GARY se echan atrás. GREG se ofrece a comprar la parte de GARY. LAURA descubre lo que ha hecho GREG y amenaza con contárselo a GARY. Un abogado comunica a GARY que PAUL le ha dejado toda la tierra de E.V. Los chicos quieren vender K.L. MOTORS, pero ella no, ya que era el sueño de SID, y ellos responden que no es el suyo, y no les gusta trabajar allí. Joshua bullies Cathy over wedding plans, and Cathy doesn't show up for the rehearsal. Ben tells Karen to stop feeding Val's fantasy that the twins could be alive, and Mac takes Karen's side and says that maybe they are alive. Nurse Wilson calls Ackerman and tells him to keep Karen away from her. Greg and Gary argue over environmental concerns for Empire Valley. Greg changes Gary's credit report, and a lot of Gary's investors back out. Greg offers to buy Gary out. Laura finds out what Greg did and threatens to tell Gary. A lawyer calls Gary and says that Galveston left him all the land in Empire Valley. The boys want to sell Knots Landing Motors, but Karen won't as it was Sid's dream for them. They tell her it's Sid's dream but not theirs, and they don't like working there. Karen and Eric go to Sid's grave, and Karen says Sid just wanted him to be happy, so she'll hire a new manager.

GARY informa a ABBY que, como compró los pagarés al retirarse los inversores, ahora les pertenece todo E.V. COBLENTZ no quiere tener a GARY como su jefe. GREG presenta a GARY a varios asociados de PAUL, que le dicen que se prepara algo importante, y puede unirse a ellos. Pero GARY los manda a paseo. COBLENTZ insinúa que es un agente del gobierno y le pide que se infiltre en el grupo. GARY accede a ello. JOSHUA desvela la historia de BEN sobre WESTPHALL en su programa y afirma que BEN está inventando lo de la conspiración, lo cual pone furioso a BEN. ABBY dice a JOSH que la audiencia ha bajado, mientras que CATHY no está segura de querer casarse, ya que deberían decidir las cosas juntos. Aún así, sigue queriendo casarse. JOSH pide a BEN que sea su padrino de bodas porque, a pesar de lo que opina de él, le considera familia. Por fin, JOSHUA y CATHY contraen matrimonio.

Gary tells Abby that because he bought the notes when his investors backed out, they now own all of Empire Valley. Coblentz doesn't want Gary as their landlord. Greg takes Gary to meet some of Galveston's men, and they tell him that something big is taking place, and they ask him to join them. Gary tells them to go to hell. Coblentz implies to Gary that he is a government agent and asks Gary to infiltrate the group. Gary agrees to this. Joshua breaks Ben's Wesphall story on his show and says that Ben is trying to make a conspiracy that isn't there. Ben is livid. Abby tells Joshua he's losing ratings. Cathy tells Joshua she's not sure if she wants to get married, and they need to decide things together, but decides to marry him. Joshua asks Ben to be his best man because despite what he thinks of him, he considers him family. Joshua and Cathy get married.
