94 - so shall you reap

February 2, 1984: Ted Shackelford and Donna Mills proved what a couple of super-actors they were when they played the last scene of this classic Season 5 episode. Sick of being used and abused by his very blonde wife Abby, Gary decided he didn´t want to live with her anymore, which implied two things: first, that Abby had to move out since they lived in HIS ranch, and secondly and most important, that Gary was available again. Too bad that the love of his life (aka Valene) had just accepted a marriage proposal from another man...though she was pregnant with Gary's twin babies. Other highlights in this episode were Cathy´s confession about being hired by Abby to distract him, and Abby finding Greg Sumner (William Devane) in bed with her enemy (and his future wife) Laura. But nothing compared with the duel of actors in the last scene.

Note "pour connaisseurs": This episode was written by Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman, years later the duo responsible for one of the most controversial (and gayest) shows in TV history, "Queer As Folk".
