- FAIL-SAFE (1964) D: Sidney Lumet. Starring Henry Fonda and Walter Matthau. High-tension drama about the atomic bomb based on a best-seller, adapted by Walter Bernstein, and done with taste and intelligence. Available in DVD (Special Edition) through Sony. "Talent Files" Extra includes LARRY´s info.

- THE CAVERN (1964) D: Edgar G. Ulmer. Starring Rosanna Schiaffino and John Saxon. OK B-film considered as the prolific director´s swan song. 6 soldiers are trapped for over a year in a cavern with a woman for a year.

- ENSIGN PULVER (1964) D: Joshua Logan. Starring Robert Walker Jr. and Walter Matthau. Disappointing sequel to "Mister Roberts", only remarkable for its large cast of future stars, among them Jack Nicholson (above photo with Larry) and James Farentino. Available in VHS through Warner.

- IN HARM´S WAY (1965) D: Otto Preminger. War movie most interesting for its cast, which also includes John Wayne, Kirk Douglas, Patricia Neal, Henry Fonda, Burgess Meredith and George Kennedy. Available in DVD through Paramount.

- THE GROUP (1966) D: Sidney Lumet. Co-starring Shirley Knight and Richard Mulligan. Adaptation of Mary McCarthy´S high-class soap opera about 8 elite college girlfriends. Introducing Candice Bergen and Joanna Pettet.

- UP IN THE CELLAR / THREE IN THE CELLAR (1970) D: Theodore J. Flicker. Co-starring Joan Collins and Wes Stern. Exceptionally sharp screenplay by the director about a young womanizer. Made to cash in on success of "3 In The Attic". Available in VHS through Warner.

- THE HIRED HAND (1971) D: Peter Fonda. Starring P.F., Warren Oates and Verna Bloom. Larry appears in one scene only included in the DVD version (98 min.) playing a sheriff. Available in DVD through Sundance Channel.

- BEWARE! THE BLOB (1972) Cameo and direction by L.H. Starring Robert Walker and Carol Lynley. Comedy sequel to "The Blob", re-issued in 1982 with the tag line "The movie that J.R. shot!". Available in DVD through Image Entertainment.

- ANTONIO (1973) D: CLAUDIO GUZMÁN. Starring Trini López y Noemi Guerrero. Well-spirited version of the country cousin fable, co-starring LARRY in his first oilman role.

- HARRY & TONTO (1974) D: Paul Mazursky. Starring Academy-Awarded Art Carney. Co-starring in this bittersweet comedy Ellen Burstyn, Geraldine Fitzgerald and Melanie Mayron. Larry plays Cartney´s loser son. Available in DVD through Fox.

- STARDUST (1975) D: Michael Apted. Starring David Essex and Adam Faith. Candid, provocative, and believable sequel to "That´ll Be The Day" about the rise and fall of a Beatles-like rock group.

- THE EAGLE HAS LANDED (1975) D: John Sturges. Based on the Jack Higgins best-seller about a Nazi plot to kidnap Churchill. Solid cast featuring Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland, Robert Duvall and Jean Marsh. Available in DVD through Live /Artisan.

- THE BIG BUS (1976) D: James Frawley. Spoof of disaster films, with a big cast including Joseph Bologna, Stockard Channing, John Beck, Lynn Redgrave, Ruth Gordon, Sally Kellerman and Richard Mulligan. Available in DVD through Paramount.

- MOTHER, JUGS & SPEED (1976) D: Peter Yates. Starring Bill Cosby and Raquel Welch. Hilarious black comedy about a rundown ambulance service outstanding Larry as an oversexed driver. Available in DVD through Fox.

- CHECKERED FLAG OR CRASH (1976) D: Alan Gibson. Starring Joe Don Baker and Susan Sarandon. B-movie rather unmemorable, about an off-road race in the Philippines. For car-action fans only.

- SUPERMAN, THE MOVIE (1978) D: Richard Donner. Starring Christopher Reeve, Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder and Glenn Ford. Entertaining adaptation of the superhero comicbook, with Academy-Awarded special effects. Hagman makes a cameo in one brief on-location scene. Available in DVD(Special Edition) through Warner.

- S.O.B. (1981) D: Blake Edwards. A glib satire on modern-day Movieland, starring Julie Andrews, William Holden, Richard Mulligan, Shelley Winters, Robert Preston, Loretta Swit and John Pleshette. Available in DVD through Warner.

- JAG RODNAR / I AM BLUSHING (1981). Swedish movie starring the local stars BIBI ANDERSSON and GUNNAR HELLSTROM, also known as one of DALLAS´s regular directors, as well as a friend of LARRY´s and a bit player on Seasons 11 and 12.

- NIXON (1995) D: Oliver Stone. Controversial biopic of the leader, showcasing a great performance by Anthony Hopkins, supported by Joan Allen, Jack Lemmon, Ed Harris, Mary Steenburgen and James Woods. Larry sort-of spoofs his J.R. Available in DVD (Collector´s Edition) through Walt Disney.

- PRIMARY COLORS (1998) D: Mike Nichols. Co-starring John Travolta, Emma Thompson, Adrian Lester, Billy Bob Thorton and Kathy Bates. Smart, funny adaptation of Joe Klein´s book about a Bill Clinton-esque politician. Available in DVD through Universal.

- THE FLIGHT OF THE SWAN (2011) D: Nikos Tzimas. A USA-Greece co-production, starring James d´Arcy, Alicia Witt and Colm Meaney, with the special appearance of LINDA GRAY. The story features a young idealist becoming everything he hates. A cataclysmic ecological and human tragedy shakes him to his senses.

- BACKWOODS CINDERELLA (1957) Aired as one episode of the theatre show "Goodyear Playhouse", it was LARRY´s TV debut at 25.

- THE OUTCASTS OF POKER FLAT (1958) Another stage-based screenplay, this time belonging to "Kraft TV Theatre", which launched big movie stars of 20th Century, such as JACK LEMMON or WARREN BEATTY, and authors like ROD SERLING, PADDY CHAYEFSKY and REGINALD ROSE.

- CLIMATE OF MARRIAGE (1958) Live-performance from N.Y. of this TV-adapted play, aired as part of "The US Steel Hour".

- SEA HUNT (1958) Submarine adventure series, starring Lloyd Bridges from 1957 through 1961. LARRY gueststarred in 3 episodes of Season 1.

- SEARCH FOR TOMORROW (1951-82) LARRY´s first serial experience, one of the long-running pioneers, first aired by CBS and continued by NBC. LARRY played the role of Curt Williams in 1957. Other DALLAS stars who began on SFT are GEORGE PETRIE (Harv), KEN KERCHEVAL, STEPHEN ELLIOTT (Scotty), MORGAN FAIRCHILD, BARBARA BABCOCK (Liz), GRETCHEN WYLER (Dr. Dakmara) and TIMOTHY PATRICK MURPHY, and from KNOTS, MICHELLE PHILLIPS, ROBERT DESIDERIO and PHILIP BROWN. Also big stars like SUSAN SARANDON, KEVIN KLINE, VIGGO MORTENSEN and KEVIN BACON.

- DECOY (1957) The first show about a policewoman set in NY, played by Beverly Garland. Episode 24 presents gueststars LARRY and SIMON OAKLAND.

- HARBOURMASTER (1957-8) New England-set adventure series created by CBS and then picked up by ABC. Starring BARRY SULLIVAN, LARRY guest-starred in one episode titled "The Captain´s Gun", with BARBARA BAIN.

- THE MEMBER OF THE WEDDING (1958) The "DuPont Show of the Month" 90-minute filmed plays lasted 4 seasons on CBS and showcased the talents of likes such as GEORGE C. SCOTT, RICHARD BURTON, JOHN GIELGUD, HARPO MARX and, last but not least, LARRY HAGMAN in the above mentioned play, aired in 1958.

- THE EDGE OF NIGHT (1956-84) Another daytime soap aired by CBS. More focused on the crime cases, it gave him the opportunity of playing 2 different parts: Johnny Collins in 1959, and lawyer Ed Gibson, during 2 seasons (1961-1963). Another future star from TEON was JULIANNE MOORE, and another from DALLAS, ALICE HIRSON (Mavis).

- A TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN THEATRE (1959) A live December 1959 CBS broadcast of episode title "Home of the Brave", co-starring WILLIAM SHATNER as a discriminated Jewish soldier who befriends LARRY´s character.

- DIAGNOSIS: UNKNOWN (1960) Short-lived cop show whose Pilot featured LARRY as main guest star.

- TWO BY SAROYAN (1960) Another stage adaptation, this time belonging to "The Play of the Week" and co-starring WALTER MATTHAU. Other future stars performing in this series were ROBERT REDFORD and GEORGE SEGAL.

- THE SILVER BURRO (1963) TVM co-starring LARRY´s pal CARROL O´CONNOR.

- THE DEFENDERS (1961-5) Atypical CBS court show with a father-son team. LARRY guest-starred in two episodes in 1963 and 1964, respectively. Shot in N.Y., other guest stars were then-beginners GENE HACKMAN, MARTIN SHEEN, JON VOIGHT, ROBERT REDFORD and DUSTIN HOFFMAN.

- THE ROGUES (1964-5) Adventure show featuring a con family formed by DAVID NIVEN, CHARLES BOYER and GIG YOUNG. LARRY played one of the sons, MARK FLEMING.

- MR. BROADWAY (1964) More adventures in a show starring CRAIG STEVENS, with guests as big as LIZA MINNELLI or LAUREN BACALL. HAGMAN appeared in episode #3.

- I DREAM OF JEANNIE (1965-70) LARRY´s first popular hit, paired with genius BARBARA EDEN, and playing astronaut TONY NELSON, who found a bottle in a desert island which was inhabited by JEANNIE. Available in DVD (Season 1) through Sony.

- THREE´S A CROWD (1969) Remake of the comedy "My Favorite Wife", co-starring JESSICA WALTER and HARVEY KORMAN. LARRY stars as a pilot who re-marries after his first wife´s death in a plane crash...presumably.

- NIGHT GALLERY (1970-3) Episode "The Housekeeper". A bearded LARRY starred in the second episode of this legendary series of the SF/Mystery genre, hosted by ROD SERLING.

- MARCUS WELBY, M.D. (1969-76) One of the biggest hits of the doctor shows, starring ROBERT YOUNG and JAMES BROLIN for ABC. LARRY participated in two episodes of Seasons 2 and 6.

- DAN AUGUST (1970-1) Crime show starring BURT REYNOLDS. LARRY did a guest stint in one episode of Season 1: "The Law", as well as DALLAS´s JARED MARTIN.

- A HOWLING IN THE WOODS (1971) D: DANIEL PETRIE. Reunion with BARBARA EDEN in this thriller co-starring VERA MILES and TYNE DALY.

- VANISHED (1971) D: Buzz Kulik. First TV miniseries, based on a best-seller about the mysterious disappearance of the President´s homosexual consultant. Also starring RICHARD WIDMARK, JAMES FARENTINO, ELEANOR PARKER, WILLIAM SHATNER, ROBERT YOUNG and DALLAS´s JIM DAVIS.

- GETTING AWAY FROM IT ALL (1971) Contrived TVM about 2 couples who decide to retire to the countryside. Completing the cast are BARBARA FELDON, GARY COLLINS and BURGESS MEREDITH.

- THE NAME OF THE GAME (1968-71) One of the most expensive series in its time, which joined 3 different NBC shows, starring GENE BARRY, TONY FRANCIOSA and ROBERT STACK, respectively. LARRY guest-starred in one episode of the last season.

- THE GOOD LIFE (1971-2) NBC sitcom co-starring LARRY and KNOTS LANDING´s DONNA MILLS, as a servant couple working for some millionaires, whose head of the family was another actor from DALLAS, DAVID WAYNE.

- NO PLACE TO RUN (1972) D: Delbert Mann. Remarkable TVM about adoption, with good dialogues and acting by HERSCHEL BERNARDI, STEFANIE POWERS, SCOTT JACOBY and TOM BOSLEY.

- WHAT ARE BEST FRIENDS FOR? (1973) D: Jay Sandrich. Bouncy comedy co-starring LEE GRANT, BARBARA FELDON and NITA TALBOT.

- BLOODSPORT (1973) D: JERROLD FREEDMAN. Remarkable drama written by its director, with american football as background. Co-starring BEN JOHNSON and GARY BUSEY.

- THE ALPHA CAPER / INSIDE JOB (1973) Starring HENRY FONDA, LEONARD NIMOY and NOAH BEERY. A armored-car robbery scheme, brightened only by good cast.

- APPLAUSE (1973) TV version of the namesake musical based on the movie "All About Eve". LARRY plays the part of BILL SAMPSON.

- HERE WE GO AGAIN (1973) A vaudevillian ABC sitcom which only reached one season. LARRY was architect RICHARD EVANS, supported by DIANE BAKER, DICK GAUTIER and NITA TALBOT.

- LOVE STORY (1973-4) LARRY appeared in the next-to-penultimate episode of this unsuccessful adaptation of the famous movie, also starring a young JODIE FOSTER and DIANE BAKER.

- MEDICAL CENTER (1969-76) Another medical drama starring JAMES DALY and CHAD EVERETT. HAGMAN guest-starred in one episode of Season 4.

- HURRICANE (1974) Disaster TVM of intertwined plots, featuring JESSICA WALTER, BARRY SULLIVAN and WILL GEER, as well as a young PATRICK DUFFY, who didn´t coincide with LARRY in any scene at all.

- McCLOUD (1970-7) Cop show starring DENNIS WEAVER. LARRY played a guest stint in the Season 5 episode "The Gang That Stole Manhattan".

- SIDEKICKS (1974) D: Burt Kennedy. Western satire starring LARRY as LOU GOSSETT´s sidekick. Pilot inspired by movie "Skin Game" co-starring BLYTHE DANNER, JACK ELAM and DENVER PYLE.

- POLICE STORY (1973-7) Anthology hit series created by JOSEPH WAMBAUGH. LARRY participated in one episode of Season 2.

- POLICE WOMAN (1974-8) Launched in one episode of "Police Story", this cop show starred ANGIE DICKINSON in the title role. HAGMAN guest-starred in one of its early episodes. Available in DVD (Season 1) through Sony.

- THE BIG RIP-OFF (1974) Pilot for the "McCOY" series, starring TONY CURTIS. The cast includes DALLAS´s MORGAN WOODWARD (Punk).

- LUCAS TANNER (1974-5) Family drama starring DAVID HARTMAN as the title teacher. LARRY guest-starred in episode 13 (unconfirmed info).

- BARNABY JONES (1973-80) Series about a detective portrayed by BUDDY EBSEN. LARRY played a doctor in one episode of Season 2.

- THE STREETS OF SAN FRANCISCO (1972-7) Another cop show starring KARL MALDEN and MICHAEL DOUGLAS. HAGMAN made a guest appearance in one episode from Season 4.

- DOCTORS´ HOSPITAL (1975-6) Medical show with GEORGE PEPPARD as main star and KNOTS´s JOHN PLESHETTE as supporting regular. LARRY guest-starred in Episode 2 (unconfirmed info).

- ELLERY QUEEN (1975-6) The latter of the 5 adaptations of the book series with the same title, with JIM HUTTON, JOHN HILLERMAN and, again, DALLAS´s DAVID WAYNE. LARRY guest-starred in episode 8.

- HARRY O (1974-6) Police show starring DAVID JANSSEN in the title role. HAGMAN played in one episode of Season 2.

- 3 FOR THE ROAD (1975) Dramedy featuring ALEX ROCCO and LEIF GARRETT. LARRY participated in episode 4. - SARAH T., Portrait Of A Teenage Alcoholic (1975) D: Richard Donner. Controversial TVM starring LINDA BLAIR and MARK HAMILL.

- THE RETURN OF THE WORLD´S GREATEST DETECTIVE (76) Dramedy about a motorcycle cop, played by LARRY, who believes he is Sherlock Holmes.

- McMILLAN (1971-7) Episode "Affair of the Heart", belonging to the final season of this mystery show starring ROCK HUDSON.

- INTIMATE STRANGERS (1977) TV drama with DENNIS WEAVER and SALLY STRUTHERS, about the destruction of a marriage.

- THE RHINEMANN EXCHANGE (1977) Miniseries based upon a best-seller, with MARK HARMON among the main cast.

- THE ROCKFORD FILES (1977-80) Detective show with JAMES GARNER as the title Rockford. LARRY appeared in one episode of Season 4, playing a double role.

- A CRY FOR JUSTICE (1977) Special episode of the show "Police Story", written by one of the latter DALLAS writers, CALVIN CLEMENTS, Jr. Also starring DIANA MULDAUR, DENNIS WEAVER and ROBERT CULP.

- SWORD OF JUSTICE (1978) Short-lived show starring DACK RAMBO, LARRY´s co-star in DALLAS. LARRY guest-starred in the Pilot, "A Double Life".

- THE PRESIDENT´S MISTRESS (1978) Mystery TVM, co-starring BEAU BRIDGES, also supported by KAREN GRASSLE and 2 other actors from DALLAS, JOEL FABIANI and DON PORTER.

- DALLAS (1978-91) (also co-direction and co-executive producer).

- KNOTS LANDING (1979-82) See "Knots Landing" and "crossovers".

- DIANA (1981) Documentary featuring a DIANA ROSS concert, with guest star MICHAEL JACKSON, and LARRY making a cameo appearance. 3 EMMY nominations and 1 for GOLDEN GLOBES.

- DEADLY ENCOUNTER (1982) LARRY´s first TVM, after his DALLAS´s big success. He was accompanied by SUSAN ANSPACH in this adventure with great action scenes with helicopters.

- LONE STAR (1986) (narrator) Documentary focused on the Texas history.

- EIN SCHLOSS AM WÖRTHERSEE / LAKESIDE HOTEL (1991-2006) LARRY and LINDA made guest appearances as JR and SUE ELLEN in the first episode of Season 2 of this popular German soap.

- STAYING AFLOAT (1993) LARRY´s first (and double) part post-DALLAS, was played in this rascals´ comedy produced by himself, in which he impersonates both a disinherited millionaire and his decrepit ancient dad. Also starring GREGG HENRY from RICH MAN POOR MAN II fame and CLAIRE YARLETT from THE COLBYS.

- STEP BY STEP (1991-8) Family sitcom starring PATRICK DUFFY, in which his pal HAGMAN made a cameo appearance in 1993. Available in DVD (only 6 episodes as "TV Favorites Compilation") through Warner, on next June 27.

- IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT (1992-5) (only director) LARRY directed episodes # 86, 108, 112, 113, 124, 129 and 144 of this police series starring CARROLL O´CONNOR. Other DALLAS´s players guest-starred in it, like BARBARA STOCK, MARY CROSBY, LAURA JOHNSON, HUNTER VON LEER, KEN KERCHEVAL, STEVE KANALY and stars from KNOTS LANDING such as CONSTANCE McCASHIN and TERI AUSTIN.

- DALLAS: J.R. RETURNS (1996) (also executive producer)

- ORLEANS (1997) Court drama with LARRY portraying the patriarch, Judge Luther Charbonnet. Only 8 episodes were aired and MARY CROSBY did a guest stint in one of them.

- DALLAS: WAR OF THE EWINGS (1998) (also executive producer)

- THE THIRD TWIN (1998) Adaptation of a novel by KEN FOLLETT as a 3-hour miniseries. LARRY is a wicked scientist who practices the human clonation. Co-starring KELLY McGILLIS and JASON GEDRICK.

- SHEER DALLAS (2005) Only narrator.

- THE SIMPSONS (2006) He voices over a lawyer character, Wallace Brady, in episode "The Monkey Suit".

- NIP/TUCK (2006) Portrayed millionaire Burt Landau, who wants to go under "special" surgery. He appeared in five episodes.

- SOMOS CÓMPLICES (2009) He guest-starred in the first two episodes of this sitcom filmed in Marbella, Spain. Once again, he was a wealthy men with a secret.

- DAS TRAUMSCHIFF (2010) German series in which he played himself.

- DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (2011) LARRY played Frank Kaminsky, future husband of Felicity Huffman´s mother (played by Polly Bergen) in the show. Guest-starred in two episodes of season seven.

- DALLAS (2012) See "Sequels", "TNT Dallas Special Gallery" and "TNT Dallas".
