The York One Star, presented by York & District Table Tennis Association, was held at Railway Institute on Saturday 16th November. This is the third year the event has been held, following the successes of the 2017 and 2018 tournaments. Thanks to Richard Crowther the York Association for organizing the tournament.

Message from Richard Crowther:

I would like to say a big thank you to the following:

- Richard and Brenda Hudson for organising the draw and schedule and being the tournament referees.

- The people who set it all up in the morning, being Martin, Anne and Keith Hood, John Farmery, Jeff Cohen, Tim Smith, Jason Parker and Dianne Crowther.

- Rob Sorley and Shiyi Ling for lending us the barriers and dropping them off.

- The lads from Shiyi Ling who helped take everything down at the end.

- Ryan Hood and Martin Hood for their photography work.

- All the competitors who made the event the success it was.
