The Annual Awards Evening was held on Friday 20th May 2016 at Crescent WMC. Trophies and awards were presented by Gerry O'Kane (GMBU) and Steve Tindall (SLT FM Solutions Ltd) who sponsor events, and Paul Milner who presented the Brian Milner Memorial Trophy (York Closed Veterans' Singles).
Coneysthorpe 'A' (Ashley Hodgson, Martin Lowe and James Rule) won Winter League Division 1, with James and Martin recording 100% records in the league. James defeated Martin in the York Closed Men's Singles final and the pair teamed up to the win the Men's Doubles. James also won the Junior Singles, Hard-bat Singles and Doubles (with Terry Ruane), and the Clfford Trophy for best performance in the Closed. Martin also won the Veterans' Singles and Mixed Doubles (with Jane Cohen).
Martin Hood and Alfie Potter of Clarence 'B', who won Division 2. Mick Kenyon and Graham Hatfield also played for the team.
Robert Farmery and Simon Prins of Clarence 'C' won Division 3. Bob Young also played for the team.
Clarence 'E' (Tom Lines, Phil Foster, Bob Fitzsimmons) won Division 4.
Richard Moss won the Division 1 Singles at the York Closed.
York Closed Division 2 Singles winner was Joe Wright.
Gerry O'Kane (GMBU) presents the York Closed Division 4 Singles trophy to Paul Lodder (right).
Arthur Sorley received the RE Jakeman Award for most promising junior.
Steve Tindall ((SLT FM Solutions Ltd) presents the West Yorks Trophy (for work done for the Association over the year), to Mick Wilcockson (right).

Machell Trophy winners were Coneysthorpe 'A' (Matthew, Sam and Martin Lowe)
The Robson & Cooper Trophy, for the beaten Shepherd Trophy finalists, was presented to Shepherds 'A' (Peter Harpham, Ian Williams). Keith Webster also played.
Jon Wooldridge won the Veterans' Doubles (with Richard Crowther).
Adam Ridley won the Handicap Doubles (with Adrian Church).
