Do you have a former WPIAL runner that you looked up too?

I would say I look up to 2 former WPIAL runners. CJ Singleton and Patrick Anderson. I completely geek out whenever I talk about them.

Do you have any pre-meet rituals?

Before I race, I listen to my playlist and tape my shoelaces to my shoes with athletic tape. After I do one of my strides, I’ll say a prayer in front of the line. Right before the gun, I’ll tap all my teammates good luck and any competitors next to me.

Favorite school subject?

Math. Anywhere from calc to stats.

Is there a coach or athlete that you look up to as a role model and why?

I truly believe Coach Fleck is objectively a top 3 coach in the Wpial. He invests so much time into making the team better that we’ve all gone to accept him as a role model. As mentioned before, I look up to Cj Singleton and Patrick Anderson. I also look up to Norwin alumni Jake Tarosky, Dom Spat, Dom Demaro, Nick Shavel, and Harrison Barnett. They were the senior leaders of the team when I was a freshman.
