According to you, what is the toughest aspect of being an athlete?

Getting enough sleep and staying on top of schoolwork is a tricky balance. I could always use more time for both! I try to make sure that I get at least 8 hours of sleep every night so that I can optimize my training; this means I have to limit distractions and plan ahead with schoolwork.

Favorite school subject?

I took AP Human Geography sophomore year, and I loved the global nature of the subject.

What is your favorite memory about Cross Country?

When Coach told us that we had won the team title at states my freshman year. I was so excited to share this experience with my teammates - we gave it our all and it was an amazing end to our season!

What is your favorite TV show?

I love the Great British Baking Show; the recipes and accents remind me of my childhood in England. Also, it’s a show about cake, what’s not to love!

Why are you so passionate about running?

I get so much out of running - it’s physically challenging, but also a stress reliever. I love being outdoors, and really look forward to pushing through workouts with my teammates - the runner’s high is real!
