What is your training schedule like?
5 days a week after school, with occasional weekend practices on my own.

How do you prepare mentally for a competition?
I try to lock in, remove negative thoughts, and get hungry for the win.

What was the most challenging competition you have ever participated in?
AAU regionals  in Maryland, the competition was like nothing I’ve seen before.

What is your favorite track and field memory?
The 9th-10th Seneca Valley invite last year.

In the world of high school WPIAL Track and Field, all eyes are on Havanna, the up-and-coming 200-meter specialist from Moon. With each passing week this season, the junior athlete has been steadily improving her times, leaving competitors in the dust and setting new records. At the recent Tri-State Championships held in West Mifflin, Havanna broke the Moon school record, cementing her status as a force to be reckoned with. Looking ahead to the highly anticipated WPIAL finals, Havanna will be a major contender, with a strong chance of finishing in the top 4 and even breaking the 25.30 mark.
