According to you, what is the toughest aspect of being an athlete?

The toughest aspect for me is balancing school work and athletics.

Do you have any advice to young people who want to start a career in XC?

I would say to not take it too seriously ever in your career. Having fun will get you so much further than running your legs out. You can also work hard and have fun at the same time.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of running?

I enjoy camping, playing disk golf, traveling, skiing, listening to music, and writing.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Either Japan because I love sushi or Norway because Jakob Ingebrigsten lives there.

What is your favorite memory about Cross Country?

Chilly Saturday morning workouts preparing for states are some of the best moments with the team I have ever had.
