What is your favorite track and field memory?
My WPIAL 4x4 team Ty Blatz, Tyler, Aiden, and me.

What do you think sets successful track and field athletes apart from those who are not as successful?
The time and effort and training put into it outside of practice or during practice.

How do you deal with nerves before a competition?
I deal with it by knowing that I can only control what goes on in life in that moment. Nothing else is guaranteed after, so control only what I have now.

How do you recover after a competition?
A real good warm down and don’t sit and cramp up. Slow stretching too.

What is the most important thing you have learned from your coach?
It’s all mental.

What is your favorite quote?
You may not know now, but later you will understand.

Brennan, who is a standout athlete in the WPIAL world of track and field, finished 7th in the WPIAL finals for the 400-meter dash last year. This year, he has been setting the track on fire, currently holding the fastest boys' 400-meter time in the WPIAL at an impressive 49.31 seconds. Not only has Brennan been clocking in fast times, but he has also won the 400-meter dash at the Baldwin Invitational, South Fayette Invitational, and the MAC Championships. This is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport. Keep an eye out for him at the WPIAL Championships on May 17th, where he is expected to dip under the 49-second mark in the boys' 400-meter dash.
