When did you first become interested in track and field?
I became interested in track after watching my 2 older sisters compete and have success.

What is your favorite track and field memory?
My favorite memories are competing at the state meet my freshman year and getting to compete with my sister this year in the 4x100 and 4x400.

What is your favorite track and field event to participate in?
My favorite event to compete in is the 4x100 relay because I like the team aspect.  Being able to compete with and break the school record with my sister made it even better.

What is your proudest moment as a track and field athlete?
My proudest moments are winning 2 WPIAL titles my freshman year and placing at states in 2 events.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced as a track and field athlete?
My biggest challenge is being a multi-sport athlete. I only finished up basketball at the end of March which limited my training before track season.

What are your future goals in track and field?
My future goals are to be a state champion and then I hope to compete in college.

What is the most important mental skill for success in track and field?
You have to be willing to push yourself past what you think you’re capable of.

Pa Milesplit

The 2022 WPTFXCN AA Girls Freshman of the year, enters her sophomore season even stronger. She set personal records in both the 200m and 400m at the TSTCA Outdoor Championships, demonstrating her explosive speed and unwavering determination. Tori is undoubtedly the athlete to watch in the AA girls' WPIAL field. Although her stronger events are the 200m and 400m, many speculate that Tori could surprise people with a strong showing in the 100m dash at the WPIAL finals. Tori has the potential to leave the WPIAL finals with four gold medals, running times of 24 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 56 seconds in the 400-meter dash. As Tori continues to dominate the AA girls' WPIAL field, it's clear that she is destined for greatness for years to come in the WPIAL.
