According to you, what is the toughest aspect of being an athlete?
One of the toughest parts of being an athlete is the work that goes on behind the scenes. The work that no one is watching and no one to impress, just you and your head. I think this can separate the athletes who are good and the ones who are great.

Do you have any pre-meet rituals?
Doing the same thing before every race or else I’ll feel like I’m not prepared. Same dinner the night before, same breakfast, same warmup, keeping my pre meet consistent is super important to me.

What is your favorite memory about Track & Field ? My favorite memory from Track and Field was winning the WPIAL in the 4 by 8 my sophomore year. Winning WPIAL's  and medaling at states really made me want to work harder and focus a lot on Track and Field. The track memories from that year with some of my teammates that graduated were really special and some that I will never forget.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m the fourth generation Amberson. Bauer, so there’s an IV at the end of my name that Milesplit doesn’t include.

Why are you so passionate about Track & Field?
I love to compete and run fast. I’ve been super competitive since I was young playing a bunch of different sports, but it’s just something about putting spikes on and being able to run fast that keeps me motivated.
