Timothy grew up living with his mother and older brother, Oliver. She had divorced their father whilst she was pregnant with Tim (after discovering that her husband was not only having an affair but had already fathered another child). Oliver and Tim spent around one weekend a month with their father and step-brother, Brock. Unlike Oliver, as an adult Timothy made a point of spending more time with his father.He was always the smaller, quieter, and shyer of the brothers; it wasn't until he was much later into his teens that Tim grew — both physically and in confidence, growing into himself and becoming more confident and outgoing. This shift was helped massively by the fact that, in his early twenties, he began basic training to become a firefighter.
