Abdoul Blakely

Abdoul is the oldest of five siblings. As a teenager, he was quiet and introverted, rarely getting into much trouble beyond an incident falling from a tree where he broke his leg. He enrolled at university to study accountancy, before eventually finding himself working as a hospital accountant.

For the three years, Abdoul was in a relationship with Ann, a nurse that he met through work, before she became pregnant. They had twins, and Ann became his wife when Cecelia and Esme were three months old. A year later, however, they separated, their relationship having fallen apart and them both feeling that their lives were taking different paths. Although they still very much cared for one another, they made the decision to split custody of the girls, and Ann has since begun dating others. The decision to separate was a mutual one and, having vowed to put their children first, they remained friends, although they'd both admit that it was hard at first.
