Before Wentworth

From a young age, Franky had a hard upbringing. Her father left when she was ten, unable to cope with his wife's drinking and drug problems. Her mother blamed Franky for her husband leaving and she was physically abusive to Franky, beating her and burning her with cigarettes. Eventually social services took Franky away from her mother and into foster care.

She was a participant on a reality TV show about underprivileged youth being given the chance to learn to cook, and she violently attacked the host, Mike Pennisi, after he verbally abused her on camera, burning him with a pan of hot oil. The incident, which resulted in third degree burns, went viral, garnering nearly 100 million views.

Wentworth Correctional Centre

The assault resulted in a 7 year sentence at Wentworth Correctional Centre. Franky receives a lot of fan mail at Wentworth, in part due to the nature of her crime. Over time, Franky studied to pass her HSC and worked her way to becoming Top Dog in the prison, though she faces rivalry for the position.

Throughout her time at Wentworth, Franky has relationships with various women, both staff and other inmates. For some time, Franky manages to balance her position as Top Dog, ongoing activities to smuggle a supply drugs and other contraband into prison, and studying for a law degree.

During a prison riot, Franky accidental killed the prison Governor. There were no witnesses or proof, nothing implicating Franky in the crime, but it weighs heavily on her. Eventually, a fight between Franky and, fellow inmate, Bea Smith ensues. Bea wins, turning down the opportunity to kill Franky but resulting in her becoming the new Top Dog.

Parole & Return

Having been released on parole, Franky begins living with prison psychologist, Bridget Westfall, lying to the parole board about where she's staying. She gets a job as an paralegal with Legal Relief, a small law firm.

She ends up back in Wentworth, having been falsely accused of Mike Pennisi's murder. She becomes allies with Allie Novak who eventually helps her make an escape to prove her innocence.

Escape & Exoneration

Franky becomes a fugitive who hides from society and sleeps in abandoned trains. Warning photos of her are put in newspaper advertisements around the city. She goes in search of evidences of her innocence, although nothing very relevant seems to be found, Franky beginning ot understand that it is going to be difficult to prove her innocence.

The police almost catch up with her and, in a pursuit, Frank is shot in her right shoulder. After finding a temporary shelter in a public toilet, Franky is severely hurt after the shooting, and calls Bridget for help.

Hiding again in an abandoned train, they figure out where the most useful evidence they can find will be hidden. As soon as Franky finds the evidence that she needs, the police catch back up with her and, injured, she is unable to escape.

She is then immediately arrested and wakes up in a hospital bed, with Bridget at her side and the detective in charge of her case explaining the charges against her have all been dropped.

On the Run

Franky's escape was successful but her attempts to prove her innocence were not. She remains on the run from the law long-term.

Celebrity Chef

Franky's life takes a different trajectory as she never attacked Mike Pennisi and avoided imprisonment. Instead, she participated in the reality TV show for underprivileged youth, where she not only learns to cook but also wins the competition. She gained widespread recognition and this launched her culinary career, propelling her into the spotlight. With her newfound fame, Franky opens her own restaurant, where she showcases her innovative fusion cuisine characterized by bold and spicy flavours. Hosting a popular cooking show, she becomes a celebrity chef, who also makes guest appearances on cooking shows, culinary events, and talk shows.

Single Mother

Whilst still coming to understand her sexuality, Franky ended up pregnant after a one night stand. Raising her son, Logan, means that she never went onto reality TV and, as such, didn't end up in prison.

The Magicians

Franky wasn't aware of her magical abilities at all until she was in prison and met a small group of hedge witches. She began developing her magic whilst still in prison but didn't properly start fully honing her skills until after her release.

Prohibition-Era (1920s)

The leader of a thriving bootlegging operation in the 1920s. Her reputation as a savvy and fearless bootlegger has earned her respect and notoriety within the criminal underground. Franky's involvement in bootlegging grew out of her experiences during the Great Depression. As a teenager, Franky began experimenting with making her own alcohol, eventually converting a hidden basement into a makeshift distillery. She started producing small batches of moonshine, which quickly gained a reputation for its quality. She supplies her products to various speakeasies in the city.

Regency Era

At a young age, Franky fled the abusive household she grew up in and found herself living on the streets. She joined a gang of street children, eventually rising to a leadership position. By her late teens, she had become a notorious highwayman. Disguised as a man, Franky’s exploits included robbing carriages of wealthy nobles and merchants.Eventually, Franky’s luck ran out, and she was captured. Upon her release from prison, Franky used her savings from her heists to open a tavern. "The Phoenix's Nest" became a popular spot for sailors, laborers, and the occasional noble seeking a more adventurous night out. 

Werewolf

Franky is the Alpha of a powerful werewolf pack. Her rise to leadership was earned through her physical prowess and the loyalty she inspires among her pack members, when she defeats the previous pack leader.
